Yes the rug is soft. However it is super thin and isn’t slip resistant on my floors. You need a rug under for padding if you plan to lay or sit on the rug. It came in a vacuum sealed bag.

We bought this as a Gift based on needing 5' x7' and the color of the image. this its is 58" x 82" . This 2 inches may not seem like a lot but its actually only 4,756 square inches as compared to the 5,040 square inches as described in the post, That is a difference of nearly 2 square FEET (284sq") PRICE: I am NOT a fan of being charged for 100% of something and only getting 94% of what i paid for. Color: Yes its grey but its not dark like the image implied. its at least 3 shades lighter and almost a blue grey its not what we wanted. Thinness: This rug makes Toilet paper seem thick by comparison. its so thin I could not measure it and cleaning it will be a nightmare as I don't live some place where I can hang it out and beat it with a stick. Will never order from this company again as this was false advertisement!

I love the ombre colors on this rug, they remind me of the ocean and provide a lot of depth to an otherwise pretty standard long shag rug. From a quality perspective, the shag itself is long but it's not particularly thick and the backing is nothing to write home about - I have this on carpet anchored by furniture, but otherwise it would definitely need a rug pad to keep it from slipping, and a plush one if you intend to sit on it. Aside from that, it really is quite beautiful and a great way to liven up a room at a wallet friendly price. Just be aware of the short comings (which can all be overcome with the proper rug pad!)

This comes vacuum sealed so dont freak out when you open the box. It's the correct order. If you just need a rug to fill a space, this does the job. If you were looking for fluffy, it definitely is not. It's a thin rug with fluff stuff on it. I was thinking it would be as thick as the one in my bathroom. It's also dark gray-ish. Two color grays instead of a single color. It is large though and will cover a space if that's what you need it for. If you don't plan to be laying down on it, it would work fine.

I got this rug for my daughter's bedroom, she loves it. I thought it would be a bit heavier, but it's a washable rug so it's not going to be bulky. It's very soft and fluffy, and it has a non-skid pattern on the back. We're very happy with it and looks super cute in her room!

This rug is more like a fuzzy blanket so you definitely need something underneath to keep it from sliding around especially if you have laminate floors. I put double-sided tape under mine and it looks good.

This rug is very soft to the touch it feels good under my feet. Unfortunately it looks like it has soft blue undertones. It also looks faded in some areas. The back has a fabric backing so you will need a rug pad under it.
