I bought this to be used for our overlanding trip across many countries to sleep in our truck as a couple. I have pros and cons... Pros: Its big, warm and can be unzipped used as 2 blankets if you chose. you can unzip each side to air in/out, or leave the bag. The bag is very big, two adults can sleep comfortably, possible with a child in the middle but no baby... The canvas outer layer is cotton and is sturdy The zippers are large and good quality The storage bag that comes with it is good size, but have to roll the bags tight to remove any air inside so it can fit in the storage bag. Amazing customer service, very quick, very polite, very professional. A HUGE plus! Cons: The inner lining is not 100 % flannel. Its a blend and soft nevertheless. Was worried at first but after the first night sleeping out in the cold to test (5 degree Celcius, we were happy on how warm it kept us. I love this bag, its not made for backpacking unless all you carry is the bag while going thru Nepal. Side note: I went to a guy that makes comforter bags from scratch and made me one just for this. It can be used if you want to sleep indoors. Overall great bag and a very good customer service. ... show more

This thing is massive, heavy, and keep in mind it says to store it unbagged and hanging so it retains its fluff/fill. You will need a huge space to hang this thing. I haven’t actually gotten to use it yet because my fall trip got canceled (thanks, pandemic!) but this canvas covered sleeping bag will no doubt keep us very warm. This thing is thick and I’m sitting on it right now because my boyfriend is cleaning out a closet. It appears very durable as I’m checking out the lining, zippers, and straps. I would highly recommend the canvas-backed bag as I’ve read horror stories about the other ones not being able to fit back into the bag. We have been able to get this one back in the bag as the bag is roomy as well. ... show more

This is not small when packed. But I have a husky that goes with and I wanted a canvas exterior so her nails wouldn't rip it when she's walking on it and I let her sleep on it over night. It's warm. I wouldn't trust it to keep me warm at 20 without wearing sweats, but that's typical of me... I suspect that my heart goes into 1 beat per minute when I sleep and I'll live to be 250 years old. Lol. So I would not say the rating is any different than other bags. I only wish they made a much warmer one for people like me. However, when my girl is with m she keeps me toasty, so it's fine. But I woukd prefer warmer. I'm sure thwy don't make it warmer because the canvas prevents it from packing small. It's big. It's easy to pack I to the duffle bag, I don't understand why people complained about that. In fact the duffle bag has enough space I can fit pillows inside it too. Zippers don't snag the lining easy. I still hold a finger out as I zip to prevent that, just as a good practice. No complaints. I got it on sale and I felt it was worth it at that point. Will buy it again when the time comes. I only put 2 stars on weight because it's not a fancy compact sleeping bag. It's a queen, it's canvas. The dog won't ruin it a d it is 2 bags in one so of course it will be heavy and big. That's why I bought it! Soi hate to rate it 2 stars for that but compared to other fancy matrriaksu they may choose yuse in the future it's heavy by comparison. I have another single size bagfor colder weather that is as big as this queen size; so I'm not complaining. But it's really perfect for my needs. ... show more

Big, heavy and warm. Mine came with some seam problems that made the zipper tough to use. After the third use, the seam pulled apart down the side zipper near the bottom. Ordering a replacement, hoping the seams will be in better shape. This was a GREAT sleeping bag when it comes to room and comfort. It is so thick, you almost don’t need a sleeping pad. I would recommend this wholeheartedly, if the seam didn’t rip. But I’m sure the next on will be fine.... BUY IT! You wont be sorry! ... show more

So i saw a review of this on The Outdoor Gear Review & decided to try it out for myself. This bag is YUGE, like seriously. Its f______g ginormous. But once you get in it, that’s a GREAT thing. Tons of room. The inside lining is extremely comfortable & the insulation is plush. Ive had this sleeping bag out to as low as 40 degrees & i was extremely comfortable (im a hot sleeper). The zippers & the velcro keeps at the top of the zipper are excellent & the draft guard actually works. The draw pulls around the hood are functional, and the canvas exterior is as d@mn near indestructible as you’re gonna get. If you’re car or truck camping and its not north pole kind of cold, this is an AWESOME sleeping bag for spring & fall camping. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this bag. ... show more
