- EASY TO SET UP: You can install a Tether Tug in just a few minutes! Each Tether Tug Kit includes the pole, an in-ground base and a Knotted Rope toy for tugging. Take the 18 in-ground base and use a rubber mallet to bury the base almost entirely into the ground. Then insert the pole into the base and let the tugging begin! The pole should be barely visible above the ground, so you can simply remove the pole and safely mow over the top of the pole.

Bought this for my 7 month old, very active puppy, who loves to ply tug. As soon as it was installed she was pulling on it with no need to show her what to do. She plays with it often. The tether seems sturdy and hoping it holds up.

Super nice toy but none of our 3 Shelties wanted to play with it. One is a puppy she jumped up and bit it hanging on while she spun around the pole. Then she could have cared less also. Total surprise...... thought they would have loved it as they are all energy filled dogs.

This tug toy wears our Goldendoodle puppy out! She loves it! The clamp holding the rope on is nice because we can replace the rope or exchange it for a ball.

My dog loved this. I ordered the “medium” size which has the clasp and comes with a rope attachment and is actually more expensive than the “large”. However, within 1 hour of setting it up the rope attachment broke off. I was disappointed in the quality of the toy attachment for the price of the overall product.

The media could not be loaded. Will update if I change my mind at any point, but as you can see in my video, straight out of the box, this toy is a hit! I bought the medium for my 36lb, extremely strong and high energy, Boston Terrier. I was trying to find a way to keep him occupied while outside so he will stop digging up the yard. He loves this toy and he’s getting some great exercise as well! Hopefully it will continue to keep his attention. I almost passed it up at first because it was much more expensive than what I would usually spend on a dog toy, but I’m glad I splurged! 5/31/20 - EDIT - He finally torn the rope toy off a couple months ago. I have yet to replace it. Maybe buy a couple ropes to have on hand???
