READ BEFORE BUYING! This is a fine peace of equipment i strongly suggest this if you are big into residential only a few things you should know i gave 4 stars because only problem it has is that it dose not tell microns you need the separate gauge for that but even then they say you should not use this for pulling a vacuum it could be bad for the seals inside but im sure youll still be fine im planing on using these for that. Im only in training but i strongly suggest still haveing a back up manifold set their is no telling with technology and what might happen. Also this price is amazing even though it dose not come with hoses I looked around after buying this not many places sell it with all of what u see here those clams are great they are worth 50$alone most people who sell this gauge only sell the gauge and they sell it for 300$+ also I would strongly suggest having a regular set of gauges manifold to use for vacuums I was told that they do not suggest using this to pull a vacuum because of its seals are not meant for it. ... show more

  • As expected with testo....
Style: Basic Kit
Great starter rig for newer Hvacr professional. Made the jump from analog to this unit. Very accurate as long as you maintain (i.e.: purging with nitrogen), keeping clean and not letting sit in car year round. I should have waited and saved the money for the unit with 4th port. I got a little to eager as a student. Cons: Bluetooth sucks. The app design and features of app are amazing but the distance is limited to about 20ft with line of sight. I had some problems with my testo multimeter and testo replaced quickly without jumping through any hoops. I love the company. Wish there was a way to either have a p/t chart on app or device. Also would love the ability to add/remove preset refrigerants that I don't use or never heard of. Or add a new one that I am pushing. The clamps work great. Have held up over time. I've been using this for about a year and half and had aero problems. Would recommend to other technicians out there. Don't be scared of the foreign name. ... show more

  • Just what I needed
Style: Basic Kit
This is my second set of digital gauges, but my go to is analogs. What’s great about these is the leak test. I can pressure with nitrogen then start my leak test and come back 3 hours later and know exactly what my readings are to a tenth of a psi. Try coming back 3 hours later with analogs and confirming what your readings are. I wish they came with a micron gauge but they are on the cheaper side and you get what you pay for. ... show more

  • Love it.
I’m not an a.c repair guy but as a maintenance mechanic for the place that I work. I have to repair the a.c units from time to time. So I was debating on buying it but since a good quality gauge are close to the same price range I decided to get the testo 550 and I love it. Easy to use and saves time trying to figure out problems. Love it the only thing I don’t like is the box the it comes with. Hard to put all the hoses back in other then that great product. ... show more

  • This is a fantastic deal ... easy to use ... I'm just a home owner and save $1,200 on service call.
I purchased this to service my own A/C unit with a quoted cost of $1,200.00 by a local HVAC company. I did the complete service for $32.00 plus the cost of this Manifold kit and a scale. I went to youtube and found a great video on using this exact Testo 550 meter and how to tune based on sub-cooling temperature etc. No charts to use. Just set my refrigerant type and the 550 did it all automatically. Very easy to use. A/C systems are really simple after I youtubed this all. I was intimidated by them before. Now I think I can do my own service ... a money saver as I have many rental units. ... show more

  • Great product for a great price!
Style: Basic Kit
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I bought this but I am really pleased. Super easy to use. Seems very accurate. I love the Bluetooth because i can load Freon slowly and go inside and do other things while the system cycles. The site glass is great and it feels solid. I read some of the problems other folks had but mine seems just fine. Great product in my opinion. ... show more

  • The best manifold I’ve ever owned!
Style: Basic Kit
They have a pressure testing mode that shows how long your test is and how much psig you have dropped. Also they calculate sub cooling and super heat for you when you use the app. These are a must buy if you are a Hvac tech.

  • Hook and clamps not secure
Style: Basic Kit
Love the manifold and its operation, feel its very dependable and accurate. HOWEVER, the hook breaks off if not careful, the temp clamp leads are at LEAST a couple of feet too short and there's no way to secure the clamps. Company informed me that you're supposed to take hoses and clamps off and put back in box every time you use them. Who has time for that nonsense when you use them on every single call? ... show more
