2nd teslong scope i have purchased. The 1st one got stuck in a engine cylinder after my apprentice tried to start the vehicle. So naturally I had to purchase a second one. These are great and affordable. As a 20 year tech I refuse to spend $1000 on something when I get the same or better quality for a fraction of the price. So far so good with this unit. Has very good built quality and easy to use. The size is exactly what I was looking for. Works well with the app. I got it so I can record the screen with my phone when doing a video and record audio also thinking it didnt have the audio recording but it does. The only thing is you need to pay a subscription to be able to record the audio part. Since I only use once in a while I dont think I will get the subscription. You can screen record it with your phone and avoid it. Video quality is good but not perfect. For me the rotating tip is what I needed and works great. App installed and worked perfect ... show more

I thought I was buying a total POS and I was wrong and I always loved having my phone because we all upgrade them over time that I can use an app there app that they tell you to use actually works really well but I also like the fact that you know I can just tell my phone to screen screen record but also their app is very functional unlike a lot of other products out there you even have a shutter button where you push your hand naturally with your pointer finger doesn't matter if your left handed or right handed you give the little button a push it takes a still photo but it's nice and you can go portrait or landscape depending on your situation and a video quality just looking around as a live view oh my God let's just say I wanted to test it right away in a dark area which I did closets things like that but I also wanted to see how well it could work in a wet shiny environment in the dark and it works very well ... show more

Setup is easy and the picture quality is quite good. It only move from one side to the other. If you are looking for a 360 degree rotation this one's not for you.

    • Possibly a decent scope ruined by crap software/spamware
Teslong TD300 was dissapointing. The hardware appears to be robust with exception of the phone clamp, which was evidently intended for much smaller bar style phones from a decade ago, as it will not clamp my 6.8" screen phone. As good as the hardware might be, you will never find out because the evaluation stops once one tries to use the TD300 software, an app DLed from Google Play. The app requires Android permissions but does not specify which ones. Also the app's main screen is compromised by a link to Teslong's e-store, and this link cannot be dismissed / removed. Once device (TD300) is selected (this app serves dozens of similar devices) you get an infinite "loading" message. I spent 1h googling and could find no YT or Reddit clues on how to make this frustrating time-waster operate. I refused to create an account and share CC in the app, so if you are willing to risk getting your CC hacked to make this borescope operate then you may have better luck than myself. ... show more

    • Does it Have a Battery - who knows . . .
Image quality, app, and ergonomics are good. No explanation given as to whether the handheld portion of the unit contains a battery that requires charging. No charger supplied but instructions has a caution stating to only use appropriate charger. Instruction book not very helpful.

Picture was very clear operates pretty good. The app works very well connect almost instantly so far so good. I use the horoscope frequently. I work on cars all the time I will come back you can give us another review later.
