It is easy to install, takes only a few minutes, and works. The back area - where the cord is - was popped out when it arrived and is made pretty cheaply. I got in back in myself no problem, but the wiring had a spot where I could see the colors of the wrapped wires. Didn’t love that and I put some black electrical tape over it.     • Does not LOCK into place and the door does not STAY shut.I
Great idea, poor execution. The clamping mechanism does not keep the fridge in position for more than a day when driving a MYP. After a day or 2, when I gun it, it simply is overcome by forces of acceleration and comes loose. Worse than that, even when I have just re-tightened the clamp, the door mechanism is also unable to handle the force of model y performance acceleration and the door pops open. EVERYTIME. I have standard after market floor mats, nothing exotic. I can assure you I am tightening it sufficiently. Since it i too late to return, I will need to install a permanent lip on the rear console so the fridge can’t slide back (the ridge they are attempting to use is simply insufficient in size for the application) and I will also install a swinging friction latch maybe with a thumbscrew for clamping. If you have done the same please reply with your ideas. Otherwise, my advice is to wait for an updated version. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this mini fridge for my Tesla, and it has been an excellent addition to my road trips. The installation was a breeze, taking only around 5 minutes to set up. The cooling performance is impressive, quickly reaching a chilly 22°F in just 10-15 minutes. It easily fits 7 soda cans or 4 water bottles and 1 soda can. The heating option is also handy for keeping my food warm. Was excited to get this after reading about the reviews. It’s a great concept but the execution isn’t what is advertised. First…it does not fit 8 cans of soda. It’s smaller than that. Second, it drained my battery noticeably faster. The claim about 1kw/24 hrs is bogus. Third, after I unplugged it and plugged it back in it wouldn’t turn on. Does not meet expectations.     • Wet bottles
It seems that it must have a defrost mode as sometime contents is wet when taken out. Maybe there is an answer to this.

    • Low quality, too small, rattles while driving, poor cord design
The installation requires a heavy plate to be installed under the floor mat. Then, you position it and crank the low quality knob and mechanism until it is sort of held in place with friction. It does not lock in place and the crank just ends up pushing up against the center console, causing the entire center console to loosen (permanently damaging the mounting points on the car's center console). The cord is too short and has to be run up the side to the 12v plug inside the center console. The wire is thick so you cannot close the center console while it is plugged in. While driving, the interior components rattle loudly over every little bump and vibration. It is seriously irritating. The advertisement shows it holding 8 cans of soda but it will only hold 4. It will not hold standard larger water bottles either. In my case, I'm much better off using one of the plug-in cooler options that fit in the rear area. This thing seriously sucks. ... show more
