I went to the UK for a week for work and packed light with a carry on. This worked well with my travel adapter that included hair appliances. I have very wavy hair and mainly use it for bangs but it can smooth everything out if needed. I would not replace my L’ange Duo for daily use at home, but was good enough for doing bangs and tough ups while traveling.

This flat iron is perfect for short hair, especially pixie cuts. It heats quickly & has auto shut-off in case you forget to turn it off. Tiny profile is great for travel but good for every day as well.

Temperature: I liked the temperature settings and they worked well. I usually use a setting of about 300*, so I was happy that this had a 320* temperature. And, it worked like a boss. It set my hair in wee little spirals that did not go anywhere. Heat: I did not have any problem with it getting too hot for my hand. Traveling: It's tiny. It would have been great. I wish it had worked for me. Ergonomics: With practice, could I have made this work? Maybe. I have been doing something in between the "bedhead" style and a light wave/curl to give my fine hair volume. This flat iron has a little tab on the handle end for hanging it. Between the tinyness of it in my hands, and the little tab getting in the way as I was trying to twirl my hair through it, I would get a wild little curl towards the top of my head and then my hair would slip out of the iron and I would end up with the strand straight at the bottom. As you can see from the picture, it was a bit much, and I ended up putting my hair up when I left the house that day to hide my styling failure. In addition, the curls I made with this HELD- unlike my big flat iron, where my hair loses the curl/style over the day, this stayed- those little wacky curls did not go ANYWHERE. Which would be fantastic if I liked how it looked. Suffice it to say I was happy to wash my hair that night. Overall: It did not work for me, but if you have very small hands, or are are using it to straighten, this might work for you. In addition, it is a mighty little device as someone else commented- whatever you do to your hair, it will hold! For that reason, I am meaning to look and see if this brand makes a larger iron that would be more manageable for my hands.

This little mini straighter is freaking amazing! This little dude can put off some heat on high and does and amazing job. Look at The pict of me outside and the top of my head where all my baby hairs are flying everywhere. It’s crazy! I can’t ever get them to stay down and as you see in the photo of me in a green shirt that all my baby hairs are down. What the what! Again I must say this! This little straighter is amzing and does the job you want. As for the rest of your hair yes it will take a tiny bit longer to straighten it but it does the job. I have natural curly hair and have to straighten my hair all the time so I am super excited I finally found one to take when I travel because my big one takes up too much room as you can see in the photo where I have them beside each other comparing. You definitely won’t be disappointed in this little guy. So click the button to turn it on, then click the other button to make it go to high setting to put out more heat. The high setting will be red and does a better job then medium. But the quality of this little item surprises me on how good it is. Go buy it. I promise you will love it as much as I do. I got the pink one just because it will be here faster but I’m loving the color. Btw it is great for travel due to the size. Oh the heat on the straighter plates do get really hot on high so be careful.

This is the perfect flat iron for a child or someone with thin hair. I have thin color treated hair and it is PERFECT. Easy to read instructions. Simple to use. It's perfect for my hair. Now if you have thick hair or a lot of hair, I don't think it's the right fit for you, but for someone with thin hair or just trying to do bangs or small areas, this is absolutely perfect and easy to use. This is the 3rd flat iron I've tried and some were to big or to hard to handle or too hot. This was just right for me. Think of hair like Victoria Beckham, Cameron Diaz or Sharon Stone type hair. I hope that helps.
