I bought a L'ange a couple years ago and it was ok but didn't have the results I really wanted (it didn't seem to keep the straightness of it after several hours). I have somewhat long curly red hair so it's finer than normal but very easy and quick to straighten. This brand goes up to 450 degrees, which I like, and straightened my hair (without extra volume or lazy curls at the bottom, within 15 minutes or so from start to finish. I'll be donating the L'ange, returning the TikTok one and keeping this one since it seems to have the best performance.

I have incredibly coarse, all natural, 4c hair that is very difficult to straighten. This straightener worked better than any other electric hot comb or straightener that I've ever used. The only thing that has ever straightened my hair better is the old school Marcel hot comb that you put on the stove. :-) This product gives me flowing, blow in the wind, fresh silk press vibes!!! I wear wigs 100% of the time. But baby...this had me out in the streets running errands wig-free!!! LOL I give this an enthusiastic 5-star rating. Buy it now, sis. :-) PROS: Heats fast, cools fast, gets really hot (450 degrees), great for 4c hair, tames all frizz, easy to use, great value for price CONS: I would not call this anti-scald. At max heat, don't let this touch your scalp.

I would give it a 5 star review if the temp/off reading could be read with the lights on. I love the ease and how quickly it removes the wild texture of my hair. I have thick gray hair. When I am done my hair is straight, soft and contours to my shoulders without looking like straw sticking out of my head. The heat is something you need to play with until you find the level that works best for you. All other straighteners have been removed and donated to women’s shelters. THANK YOU

So let me tell you. I watched multiple videos on this type product. It was not this brand but i bought this one cause of it being a prime deal so i wouldn’t feel bad about wasting the money if it didn’t work. Let me tell you it more than works!!! It’s amazing and even my 7 year old will let me use it on her!! It does exactly like it says. Flat ironing my hair takes a couple min now and its board straight not lumpy like from my regular flat iron which i threw away after i first used this product. Do yourself a favor and BUY it now!!!

I always wear my hair straight but I have a frizz to it and of course the weird curls that are in the awkward places, but with this, it literally makes straightening my hair a game changer because just from the feel of it, I can tell what pieces of my hair are done or not. It doesn’t pull at all, very easy to use, and it heats up fast (up to 330 if needed). The biggest thing I noticed was how smooth my hair was and how it stayed like that overnight +. If you are checking to review this against another one that has been on instagram for twice as much; I purchased both knowing I would return one of them. This was by far better in my opinion

I got this for my mother and myself .. My mother is older and her hair has gotten both coarse and very thin .. We thought that this would make her hair more manageable .. It did not ! If yuh have short hair it is almost impossible to use .. and when we could get use it on the crown of her hair .. you could not control it enough to actually style her hair My hair is long and wavy .. not coarse or particularly curly .. It was even hard to use on my hair . hard to get “ in position “ and when i could .. i had a straight smooth patch .. but could not get it to work on other areas .. waste of money !

I like that it is an option to get your hair done quick and out the door in a flash! Don’t expect this product to do the same job as an iron would but it takes the frizz down a bit and quick and easy to use. I like that I don’t lose as much hair as I did with my iron!
