Our TerraFlame arrive very well packaged. Styrofoam bumpers separated the base from the fireplace section very well. In addition, it was well wrapped in lots of shrink wrap. It was very easy to assemble. The base screws were a little tight, but this was easily solved by using a drill. Shipping was fast and efficient. In short, we love it!! ... show more

It is reasonably well made, attractive, and the gel cans work and can definitely add some supplemental heat. There is an odor if you burn this indoors without ventilation, and I wouldn't recommend for more than occasional use for that reason. Still a bit expensive for what it is. My terra fireplace arrived with one of the tabs on the base bent, so I could not assemble it. The box was not damaged, so it was packaged bent, and did not happen during shipping. I contacted terraflane, and their response was to tell me to fix it. I did, which required me taking it to a machine shop, to bend the tab back, and then redrilling the hole 1mm larger and getting new screws. All at my expense. Love the fireplace!!. Not happy with the lack of interest by terra flame in fixing a damaged product that they sent to me. Buyers good luck. ... show more
