  • Good price for this switch
Model: 5 Ports Gigabit
Just the features I needed and the price was right; no problems at all and functions great for what I want.

  • Works perfectly.
Model: 2.5G 4 Port
Simple and basic fully functional 2.5GB hub for a very good price. I love that is has the 10G SFP+ ports, but SFP+ adapters are still expensive, but great future proofing. Getting the full 2.5 Gbps as expected.

  • This small sized switch works just fine.
Model: 5 Ports Gigabit
I needed an additional ethernet port for my network. I saw others had said the size of the switch was rather small and I didn't have a lot of room so I took a chance. So far this small switch works just fine and doesn't take up much room. I do wish the power cable from the plug to the switch was a few inches longer, but that's just my needs. I recommend this switch for anyone who needs some extra ethernet ports in a small space saving configuration. ... show more

  • Easy to Use
Model: 5 Ports Gigabit
My router stopped working due to a power outage, ISP provided a new one only to find out there is only one ethernet port My wife and I both work from home and that was not acceptable. Went to Walmart to find out that Switches were 4 times the price of what we found here. zero complaints does what the more expensive one did, no difference in speed upload or download. ... show more

  • Works as expected
Model: 2.5G 4 Port
I love that this can provide speeds of up to 2.5gbps. I now have several devices that are 2.5gbps-capable and I needed more than the single 2.5 port on my router. So far, everything I've connected to this switch is maxing out my internet plan (~1.4gbps) without adding any ping time. I haven't noticed any heat coming from the unit, but that could be because I don't really use it that hard. I do wish the bright read power light would turn off or go away. It's too bright, and red is too obnoxious of a color. Other than that, I've been really happy with this budget 2.5gbps switch. ... show more

  • Easy, and works as advertised
Model: 5 Ports Gigabit
I was a bit skeptical for the price, but what the heck! I needed this for two computers in another room. This is a very inexpensive option, but does the trick! I had been using an old router as a switch, with a lethargic speed of 60 mbps (my IP is optical and 500 mbps, up/down currently). Dropped this in place of the old router, and speeds are up to the full bandwidth. For my local network, moving at 1 to 3 gbps is now a reality. I can move files to my media server or from and from my other workstation rapidly. I work a lot with video and audio so the files are huge in raw form. It also allows me to access my second workstation effectively to use it as a rendering drone. Productivity is way up for less than $10. ... show more

  • Inexpensive 1G PoE switch, minimal features but does the job
Model: 5 Port Gigabit POE
Like: - PoE! Have not loaded up more than 2 devices yet, but an old PoE access point and PoE camera has been running fine since I hooked it up (about a month.) By specs I should be able to power 2 more camera's but have not tested that. - Price, $20 for a working 5 port gigabit switch is not bad even without PoE. - The power supply is built into the case, no external brick to get in the way. - Sturdy metal case. Dislike: - It really is a dumb switch with no management / monitoring interface, which is . While this is what was advertised and I expected, it would be nice to have a simple web interface to monitor power usage and power cycle ports for non responding devices. - Going along with lack of a management interface, the VLAN feature is rather limited. It appears to be a hard wired configuration where the uplink port can forward traffic to and from any PoE port, but all the PoE ports are segmented from each other. Instructions that came with the switch also say the speed is reduced in VLAN mode, but I did not check. Unknown: - How reliable is it in the long run? I've only had it running about a month, so far no real problems. ... show more
