This police outfit is a pretty good deal. It's not some cheap plastic, it appears to be some fabric. It's a little large for a 2 yr. old girl, but I just folded the sleeves and cuffs inside with a safety pin and it worked fine then. I didn't want to sew it because this will really last some time past Halloween as a play dress up outfit. The belt is extremely too large however, so Grandma improvised again and just secured the loose end with a paper clip. It has a holster made of vinyl, which we painted a paint roller handle black and put that in it for a nightstick. We didn't think it wise to put a gun in it for a parade lol, even if it is only a 2 yr. old. We saw this same costume at a box store for more than 3x the price we paid here. Nice hat with it also, love the whistle on a cord attached to the epaulets and so did the baby. It was a tremendous bargain for the price. ... show more

Overall happy with the purchase; however I will say this is *very* low quality. The shirt and pants are thin enough to see through. Thankfully the costume was large enough to fit a pair of sweat pants underneath for warmth. The belt and hat seem disproportionate to the 2T size ordered, but the falling belt and lopsided hat only made the costume cuter. Despite those factors, still happy with the purchase. I ordered the 2T for my son and overall I think it’s a good value for the price. My son loves it and the shirt is really good quality. The gun holster and the pants are not the greatest quality but I honestly think most kids would care more about the shirt and hat. The only reason why it’s not 5 stars is for the quality of the gun holster and pants. It did run slightly large but most costumes do. ... show more

    • The police uniform for our 4 year old great grand son, and my almost 2 year old great grand son!

For our 4 year old the uniform fit pefectly, he looked like a real office. I took him to our Palacios Police Department and and they gave him a grand tour and even let him sit in their police vehicle and turn on the lights and horn. its something he will never forget. Now when it comes to our almost 2 year old grandson, the uniform pant legs & shirt long sleeve arms were a little to long, but i just rolled them up. He's not 2 years old yet so I knew that it would be like that, but he'll grow in it! I also ordered two more uniforms for our 3 year old great grand daughter and our 1 year old great grand son, they've been under the weather and i'm waiting to see them in it soon! ... show more

Absolutely love this costume for my little boy! He wears it everywhere! He’s 2.5yrs old and wears a 2T and he has plenty of room to grow in this. We just rolled up the bottom of the pants.
