No, the Tera 5100 barcode scanner only supports 2.4G wireless connection and USB wired connection. Can I connect it to my phone or tablet via the 2.4G dongle? The 2.4G USB receiver is designed for PCs and laptops with a standard USB port. For smartphones and tablets, the 2.4G dongle is not applicable. This barcode scanner is not intended for direct mobile/tablet pairing. Does it work with Square? No. The Tera 5100 is NOT compatible with Square POS systems. Can it scan barcodes displayed on a phone or computer screen? No. The Tera 5100 barcode scanner is a 1D scanner designed for printed barcodes. It does not read barcodes displayed on digital screens. Can it scan QR codes or 2D barcodes? No. This model supports 1D printed barcodes only. It does not read 2D codes. Model D5100 can read 2D code. ( The D5100 also does not support Bluetooth)
