This scanner works very well. If it does not read a bar code, it will read the numbers accompanying the barcode and still pull up the correct product. The battery life is very impressive, and the sleep mode is an excellent way to prolong battery life because the scanner is really dormant. The silicone bumper on the scanner actually works. It does protect the scanner from bumps and also kept it from falling off the desk. The scanner rolled on its side rather than fell.

Seems to work pretty well out of the box. Does NOT support Aztec codes, as advertised. I had planned to use Aztec codes for a project but they will not scan. Switched to datamatrixes instead and they work very well with this scanner.

received product, plugged into laptop (Windows 10) and main computer,,neither worked. I was expecting it to start functioning once plugged in. I thne went into instructions, and it still did not react. I called service, and afte explaining what I did, we both agreed that I should return to Amazon and obtain a replacement. I am now awaiting the replacement. I sure hope the replacement works. If not, I expect a refund. If it does, I'll report here either way. I received the replacement. Same problem..I did not want to call for help, this time because the advertisement says "Plug and play". I even tried resetting to factory setting several times. the only thing that worked were the volume control . When you advertise "Plug and Play" make sure it is plug and play.

I bought this gun so I could scan QR codes and go to whatever survey or website on my PC instead of my smartphone. I usually don't write reviews on the first day I use a product, but this scanner plugged in and worked immediately. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. It scans QRs and bars, and it's wireless. It goes to sleep in a reasonable amount of time but wakes up quickly and is ready to scan. Of course, I can't speak to its longevity.
