I have a hard time drinking water. Idk, something about it. The taste. It chokes me. I have a Brita and a Berkey and both are a chore. I've tried for years to trick myself into drinking it with flavored drinking tablets, fruit infusions, tisanes... but alone, it's rare that I am moved to just drink it. I would probably die in the wild. So I got this water bottle thinking maybe this will be the answer, but anticipating that it will probably end up in the water bottle closet with the rest. Do you know how many new water bottles I've bought over the years? Maybe this color, or shape, or size, or gimmicky mouth piece will help.... Let's not talk about it. This one is different. It actually inspires me to drink water from it, which is wild. I've discovered my body actually asking for water, from this water bottle, when it used to reject the idea anytime my drink-water-alarm would go off. (Yes, I have alarms and apps encouraging me to drink water.) In fact, I liked this water bottle so much I let my partner try it and he basically stole the damn thing (okay, I did end up giving it to him.) so I bought another for myself, a bigger charcoal indigo colored one. They're not perfect, but the imperfections are so slight that I barely notice them. For instance, when refilling, the water surprisingly works with gravity when you take the lid off and slips right out of the bottom of the straw often onto my shirt and down my leg because I always forget to hold it over the sink. Or sometimes, the straw sucks in air for a fraction of a second when you haven't drank out of it recently. Science is wild, huh? Another thing, if you like wearing chapstick when you drink from it, the soft gummy mouthpiece might have chapstick on it later and you might taste it. Maybe, wipe it off if this isn't something you enjoy. And, you know, clean stuff out as it needs to be cleaned. There is one warning I would give people installing the filters for the first time. No matter how long you run that sucker under the water, once you install it in the straw, suck the water into your mouth and spit it out into the sink. It will be blackish from the loose sediment in the filter. Do this as many times as you need (usually 3-4) to feel confident the water is clear. Tbh, I might buy a third just to have an extra laying around, or a special one I take to the gym or office. Idk. I might just go buy one for a friend who lives out in the middle of bumf because not having to worry about water tasting like chemicals no matter where you are is worth every penny. I bought 2 of these from Amazon for my husband I to use on a European vacation. I don't like the idea of drinking unfiltered water or buying a lot of water bottles. We use a large Brita filter at home, so it only made sense to go with a brand we know and trust. The water bottle is easy to use, comes with a filter to get you started and easy to clean.     • A bit TOO large, but very easy to use, and keep you hydrated as you sip throughout the day

The 36 oz Brita filtering water bottle was a little TOO big to fit into most cup/bottle holders I have, but it does keep me hydrated throughout the day with minimal fuss. The bottle has its own little carbon filter that claims to be able to filter enough water to fill up to 300 16.9 oz bottles, thus eliminating those bottles. I can't verify that claim, and San Francisco water is already one of the best, having came from the Hetchy Hetchy reservoir, so I can't tell you how it affects the taste, but I am tasting filtered water, that I do know. While genuine Brita replacement filters can be expensive, there are third-party filters that costs much much less. The bottle is a hard-side, and has a snap-close lid with its own strap that's not adjustable. Do NOT swing the bottle around with the lid open... I doubt the joint can take any abuse. Also, do NOT turn over the bottle with lid open... as there's vent hole that will release water if you do turn it upside down. Otherwise, it's a slightly oversized bottle, as most XL bottles stops at 32 oz, and this one is 36 oz. Cleaning is easy... Just wipe the tip you sip the water from. Since all you do is fill the inside with plain water, cleaning should be relatively minimal. And all the parts come apart for cleaning if you need to do a full clean. Just have a small wire brush and bottle brush for proper water bottle cleaning. All in all, it's a great way to keep a lot of water near you... fill it up once and it'll probably last you all day. ... show more

Bought this for a cruise because I didn’t love the taste of the water on a previous cruise. This was a perfect fix. I loved the size and design, pretty pink color and had several people ask me about the water bottle. Very easy to clean as well which is a huge plus as I wasn’t sure about the mouthpiece. I may opt for the larger one in the future. Only downfall was it is a little challenging to fill with ice when using a machine because of the smaller rim but can be hand fed into the container. ... show more
