This is the perfect cash register for a small business, whether you plan on using the point-of-sale system or not. This cash register also works well for storing your personal cash and loose change in your home, all in a convenient, organized place. If you have a large enough home safe, you could also place this register inside of it to hold your emergency cash, collector coins/silver/gold/jewelry, and more. There are 6 included keys, which may seem excessive to some, but if you run a business with employees it makes sense to have enough for your employees as well as extras in case a key is lost. I like that each of the slots for bills and coins are adjustable to pretty much any size so that the register can be customized for your needs. You can expand for up to 6 coin slots with the extra 2 dividers included. The spring-loaded door is really satisfying to use, I found myself playing with the door several times just because of how cool and functional it is. The dimensions in the product description are accurate (13"x14”x3.5”) for the register. With the rubber stands installed (they come pre-installed), the cash register measures 4" in height. There is no assembly required, it's ready to use out of the box. Needed a cash register for having yard sales and doing some craft shows as well as other small things. This is the perfect cash register for that. Comes with 6 keys so there's a pretty good chance you're not losing all 6 of them. There's three different ways you can open this, but I'll just be using the key manual way. It has 4 bills slots and 6 change slots inside. The outside is made of metal so that's always nice. You can only remove the coin tray from this, but then you can use the outside slot if you're mounting this to something like a roadside stand then people could deposit money into that slot and then you can tend to it later. This works absolutely perfect for what I need it for, so I definitely would recommend.

This is a pretty nice "compact" register. It's well-built and the drawer opens and closes very smoothly! It's not as wide as standard-sized registers, so you do lose a cash slot, but I already knew that going in. I plan on putting large bills, along with checks, in the front slot of the register that drops them below the coin tray anyway. The coin tray is removable for that purpose, and it's nice that the coin tray is customizable via the provided removable dividers. The lock on this register has three positions. The default is closed but able to be opened via a tab at the bottom rear of the drawer or your POS/printer. Then, there is the locked position and the unlock/open position (where you use the key to open the register manually). One thing that I would have liked better for this register is if the cash tray was removable without having to take out the entire drawer. The tray is permanently affixed to the drawer, so if you need to take the tray somewhere else, you have to pull the drawer entirely out of the housing. It's not as quick and easy as simply being able to remove a tray that sits inside the drawer. As such, it takes a little finagling to insert the drawer back into the housing once removed. Overall, this is a pretty solid cash register, especially for use in my work van! Apart from the way the removable tray is implemented, I really like this register. It's a great fit for my needs.
