I’m 42 years old, 5’5”, and 155 pounds, and I absolutely love this swimsuit. The style is beautiful and flattering, and the fit is fantastic. It isn’t a tight tummy-control suit, which I actually appreciate, but it still does a great job of smoothing and disguising my belly area without feeling restrictive. What I love most is that it covers the areas I want covered while still highlighting the right places. It made me feel confident, comfortable, and attractive, which can be hard to find in a swimsuit. The material is comfortable, the fit is flattering, and I didn’t feel like I had to constantly adjust it. Despite how pretty it is in person, it wasn't right for me. It's a gorgeous color. Seems well made, and the band looks like it's meant to be flattering. However, I'm 5' tall, 130lbs, shorter in the torso. I usually wear between a small and a medium, and I'm between a 34-36B. This just wasn't right for my body, loose in the lower stomach and not flattering for the chest/torso area (breastfed two kids almost consecutively for 4 years) so yeah lol. This swimsuit is perfection! It is very well made and the material feels high quality with just the right elasticity to hold everything in, but not overly restricting. The fit is fantastic with ruching over the stomach, and the perfect balance of being very figure flattering while providing full coverage. The best aspect for me is the versatility and great support to swim laps and aquacise comfortably without wearing an unattractive "speedo-type" one piece. ***UPDATE*** Since my original review I have lost 60# (and counting!). The suit I purchased back then no longer fits. I once again needed a bathing suit for a beach vacation with my family, but this time I wasn't loaded with dread because I knew exactly what I wanted. I came right back here and bought this suit again, this time in wine red. My original purchase was an 18W and this new purchase was a Large. It fits just as well and looks just as amazing as my previous purchase. I just love, love, love this suit! And if I shrink out of this large, I will absolutely buy this suit again and again in whatever size I need. ********************************************************************************* I despise bathing suit shopping. I'd rather stab myself in the eye with a hot fork than go try on bathing suits. There's nothing like having shaky self confidence in your body image and then staring at yourself in a huge mirror under harsh store lights while crammed into a sausage casing that hugs every molecule of cellulite. Good times! 5 days before going on a beach vacation with my family I couldn't find my bathing suit. I just bought it last year and I couldn't for the life of me locate it in any drawer or closet. THOUSANDS of rave reviews, and LOTS of pics of bigger girls (like me) that looked good. What the heck, why not? I clicked buy. It arrived the next day, and with all the dread inside of me of decades of hating this annual ritual, I slinked into the bedroom to try it on. I turned around and looked in the mirror and was incredibly shocked! I looked GREAT! I looked slimmer, the cut and style were incredibly flattering, the girls looked amazing and it was very comfortable. I was absolutely astounded. I called my husband to come look and his jaw literally dropped open. He said it's the best bathing suit I've ever bought, it made me look terrific, and what's more it made me smile big and stand tall which made me look even better. Loved this swimsuit purchased two because the first one faded color due to constant use in swimming pool and salt water so I wanted a second one. Need to get a better dye and secure the color but fit and looks were great for me.
