I’m 22 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and needed a new swimsuit to take my daughter to the pool. This suit is so flattering and really pretty! I don’t have a problem with side boob like some of the other reviews complained about even though I’ve gone up 2 cup sizes already. I do wish it had slightly more coverage over the behind area but that’s my “problem” area. I was also on the fence about ordering the small or medium but went with the medium just to be safe. It fits perfect with room to grow! I’m 5’6” and currently at 135lbs pregnant. This is a great suit. I had to get creative as I’m PL and my breasts are huge. Nothing seemed to fully cover/be remotely flattering. I decided to take a chance on this (as I am not pregnant) and am happy. The material is stretchy and comfortable and provides coverage. I could use a little more support but it gets the job done. Very flattering! I am pregnant with my second but just had my first 15 months ago, so my body is nowhere near where it used to be. I feel very comfortable in this and can tell it will stretch well as my belly does. I added a wrap to cover my pesky cellulite areas and love that look.

Arrived as stated, the day before my beach family trip and this year I was pregnant once again and due Nov. baby #3 so my body has stretched much bigger than actual baby….which leads me to my next thing about materno swimsuits. I saw the reviews were great for preggie mommies with bigger bellies because of the coverage and room. There is zero stretch in this material! I have thick thighs, booty and belly so I wanted this to stretch for comfort mostly. My mom had to help me get in and latch the straps in the back because I would have broken them trying to get on. Also once I was in the material I could hear the seams popping and snapping and I was waiting for a hole but none. Outside the material clung to my body and it was not cool. I was sweating everywhere. Afterwards to get off, it was a struggle but got off and the material seams were stretched to the limit. If I try to put on again I’m sure the material will give away and the seams will pop. I got the XXL and it still was not enough room for my pregnant belly. ... show more

Only thing is it start piling when you wash it even on gentle, but other than that I’m so glad I got it. If your around the same weight definitely go with the large; it’s a perfect fit with room to grow for the belly. Granted this was for expectant mothers but I needed something mainly to fit my girls and not have to go up in size just to accommodate : The Twins" . With this I was able to get an XLarge and the girl have ample coverage. There is a lil bunching in the tummy area to accommodate a baby belly or in my case a food belly. I like that it can criss cross in the back with the adjustable straps. I was pleasant surprised by that. It's a good buy overall and my fav mustard yellow. To compare what I mean about the tummy area I will add another suit I got from Amazon thinking its an XL size 16-18 like this one. Had some booby coverage but I need a lil more or one wrong move and "Hello" ... show more

    • FINALLY a TRUE maternity swimsuit!
After trying on swimsuit after swimsuit all claiming to be "maternity" and finding them to be too tight and not very stretchy, this one finally fit the bill! The material is very stretchy, which in my opinion is a MUST for a maternity swimsuit. There is plenty of room in the belly area without it being saggy. I got my usual pre-maternity size and it's the perfect fit. I am 28 weeks and it fits great and I think has enough stretch to grow with me til the end. The little ruffle is flattering without being too froo-froo (I'm not a ruffles gal) and I like that it is still a little sexy and not matronly, shows off a little cleavage and isn't super low cut on the legs and butt. The straps don't feel like they will be super durable for a long period of time but since I won't be pregnant for very long I'm not overly concerned with it.
