This reel not only looks great but it also feels and performs great as well. The components that make up this reel are over and beyond what I thought I would get for the price point. One thing to note is that the grip on the handle is relatively large and is made of foam. This is not a bad thing it just might come down to personal preference if you like the feel of this reel. This has to be the strangest purchase for me on Amazon so far. Ordered 4 of these reels and received 4 different reels. The second time around I got the correct reels and now that I've had a opportunity to use them, they are perfect!! Definitely one of the smoothest, easiest reels I have ever owned. Nice reel. The drag system is very strong and smooth. During the fishing, the spool lip is rarely twists the line. I will never worry about if the reel would be broken since this is such a high quality product.

I will make it nice nd simple. I got mines in today and I'll say I'm very impressed on how well made it feels it sounds very smooth nd it looks awesome. unfortunately I ordered the wrong size but I would highly recommend it .

The reel I received was used or opened or a return. The handle was not connected properly and it appeared it was missing pieces. Returned immediately. Would not recommend this reel at all.

I have always preferred spinning reels to bait casters and spin casters (push button) reels, and I am always looking for decent reels. I selected this one in the 3000 size, and so far I am pleased with it. It operates smoothly and seems to be made well. Tempo is a name relatively new to me and I wasn't too sure what to expect in terms of performance. I can't find too much online about the company so there's not much to go on when researching the brand. Lack of information aside, I have been pleased with this reel. It is a very smooth operator with a smooth, buttery retrieve and easy casts. Monofilament line peels off easily during the cast and I have not had any issues with hitches or snags. The bail flips easily like it should which is a problem I have seen with some other reels. I like the zero reverse which works very well on this reel. The drag is easy to adjust, too. The whole assembly is lightweight and not burdensome. In spite of this, it feels very solid and it should be able to handle years of abuse with a little routine maintenance. I am very pleased with this reel and will be using it more over the coming weeks and months. So far it is a smooth and reliable operator, it has a good feel in the hands, it is lightweight and it just works like it's supposed to work without any glitches. ... show more
