I had an electrician work on my home recently and he toted a telescoping ladder which bewildered me. I watched how he was able to use it indoors and outdoors with extreme control. Packing it away was a breeze. This DIAMONDFORGE telescoping ladder is almost an exact version. Of course, I will need practice and be more cautious in learning how to maximize the usage of it. First of all, it is not exactly lightweight to carry but yet it not too heavy. The small closed position makes it easy to carry it anywhere. There are latch locks to keep the ladder stay in a locked place. I was fortunate to keep mi fingers outside the ladder rungs when I activated the sliders to close up the ladder. The speed of gravity closes it in a snap. Just got be very careful. The ladder seems quite stable for heights lower than 8 feet. There is a stabilizer you should be using when the ladder is further extended. I will try that out when I drop by my Summer home in the Spring. For now, I am using it indoors in my condo. The bumber ends are not as soft as I wanted so be mindful when you rest it against your painted walls. I may invest in getting soft silicone bumper pads. I have used A frame ladders all my life and had no issues using wide or narrow steps. This telescoping ladder takes narrowness to new levels but I adjusted to it without any issues. I really love not having to figure where to store this ladder when not in use. It does not take much footprint. The metal aluminum tubes seems robust and I don't fear it breaking down. Great addition for all homeowners. 4.5 Stars!

I have wanted one of these for awhile now. It's is a good one and stable with the support bar. With out it it does have a bit of flex- I think they all do ( that I've seen) so I DO RECOMMEND using the support bar. NOW ON THAT NOTE - the manual instructions shiw an impossible scenario with bolt and nut - impossible because both sides of the connecting peices were made to hold a bolt/nuts ( holes are hexagonal) the nut was replaced with a wing nut which makes the positioning possible But when tightened sufficiently for safty will waller out the hole and make it a very temporary item you will enjoy . TO MANUFACTURER- Please include a washer with your wing nut for this fix to make sense! To buyers - please use a washer, most will figure this out iwoukd hope and hopefully before using and getting frustrated. I tried this with flat washers and it's acceptable but not great .. I suggest the washers I used which give your fingers room to tighten and loosen the wing nut easily for adjustments they arezraised in the center with locking ridges .. see my pictures they work really nicely! You can also see I went with attachment at 4th from the bottom - this is just where it felt most useful for me but usexim the Middle area for 4- 6 is probably most useful. At this point it be adjusted when swinging it out by loosening the wing nuts .. to move it up the rungs the bolt and nut with need to be removed for that portion, kinda a pain- so if you can decide the angle you feel most comfortable using this ladder -then find the rung where this,can reach the flat vertical surface without loosing contact of the top of the ladder to the wall this is where you want to put the brace then you can fold it in or out and make adjustment. Please headxthexwarnings to keep your hands put of strike zone when collapsing !!! That could really smart. The strap is great for keeping it compact while transporting and carrying. I very happy with this . I do hope the manual gets fixed to reflect the new parts and that 2 washer are added to the parts bag!! The prices is at the average for similar ladders and includes the stabilizing piece I feel it's a good value. The inclusion of the washers and updates to instructions even if just by insert would benefit the overall experience for buyers... it's feels like half the problem was solved on this after a mistake was noticed.. that said (and even though its easliy handled) the customer will have better impression -

The portability of this ladder is amazing! It's light at 22 pounds and easy to carry from room to room without bumping into everything. It can easily go up stairs, around corners and will fit in your car trunk or the cab of your truck and you don't have to strap it down. Just that alone should make you want to get this ladder. I got this to access an attic crawl space. The access is in a closet which makes an A frame ladder impossible and an extension ladder too tall and cumbersome to use safely. Extension ladders are also difficult to maneuver throughout a home. The stabilizer on this telescoping ladder is absolutely a trust builder, removing all flex in the ladder at or near full extension. Each level locks into place with automatic pins and the steps themselves are non slip. This will also be a perfect ladder for our travel trailer. I may be able to forego using the OEM installed vertical ladder on the side of the trailer, which is a bit terrifying to use on a good day. Using this cool telescoping ladder will allow me to inspect the entire roof of the trailer without crawling all over it. The extra provided clips are a nice feature.
