Features

  • Note: Manual Focus/MFPlease note: This is a manual focus lens (no autofocus/no AF)". MUST need to "Set to camera mode to M (Manual)" for use, otherwise it will show the "Lens not attached" error (it will not allow you to press to shutter when in error page". More important, manual lens MUST need to manual turn the "focus ring" on the lens to achieve focus.
  • Super Telephoto LensManual focus telephoto lens, a focal length of 420-800mm and an aperture of F/8.3-16 (non-adjustable aperture value, f8.3 at 420mm and f16 at 800mm), filter size of 62mm, full frame, F mount, built with high-quality materials and robust construction, making them durable and long-lasting;
  • Upgraded versionUpgraded into an F mount, which can be mounted on Nikon DSLR cameras without connecting the T adapter ring. For those who photograph wildlife or the moon as a hobby, this lens would be a great choice;
  • F Mount CompatibilityCompatible with Nikon D-series DSLR cameras: D850 D810 D810A D800 D800E D780 D750 D700 D610 D600 D500 D300 D300S D200 | D7500 D7200 D7100 D7000 D5600 D5500 D5300 D5200 D5100 D5000 D3500 D3400 D3300 D3200 D3100 D3000 | D100 D90 D80 D70 D70S D60 D50 D40X D40 | D6 D5 D4S D4 D3S D3X D3 D2XS D2X D2H D1X D1H D1;
  • NO electronic contacts and No Autofocus MotorManual lenses lack electronic contacts, so you need to use our lens in Mode M. In the meantime, you must set the ISO/Shutter speed in mode M, otherwise the photo will come out too Bright/Black. On manual lenses, the camera may display F-- because it doesn't have direct access to the aperture value.

  • Quality Lens
Style: For Canon EF/EF-S (Black)
Great lens for the price. Only downside is that it is fully manual and not able to do autofocus. This makes it hard to capture birds in flight and get detailed photos. But for still instances, it works well with expertise and practice. Here are some of the pictures I have taken with it. I have had this lens for a year now, now upgrading to a Sigma 150-600 mm lens for the Autofocus capabilities. I really appreciated this lens for the convenient price. ... show more

  • It's alright (Read)
Style: For Canon RF (R-series)
This is amazing for the price, but it lacks autofocus and has a somewhat pixelated image. You get what you pay for, and it's also pretty shaky, but still great.

  • Great price and quality
Style: For Canon RF (R-series)
I'm a novice when it comes to photography, and I've never used a ridiculously expensive lens, so I can't speak to comparisons, but I love the shots I get with this one. A tripod is definitely a must use, and I don't have a remote, so I use the camera timer to let it settle down after pushing the button. I have a Canon R100, and it fit right up. With some time and effort in making those adjustments, I can say I'm fully satisfied with the results. Pictures are 2 at 800mm and one at 600mm ... show more

  • Great lens
Style: For Canon EF/EF-S (White)
I was wary about using a non-brand-name lens with my Canon DSLR, but this lens is great. It does not interface with the auto-focus on the camera, so it's manual-focus only, and you have to manually adjust fstop and aperture, but that's kinda the point with a DSLR anyway -- ultimate control over exposure. My only caution is that because it does not have image stabilization use a tripod and a timer to take your pictures. This is not a lens for action shots! By using the timer, you give the camera a few seconds to settle down after pressing the shutter release. (I suppose you could also use a remote shutter release, but I don't have one of those.) The price point was excellent which is what made me decide to try this lens. It comes packaged in its own protective sleeve with a place to mount the lens to your tripod which helps make it more stable. ... show more

  • KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BUYING!!!
Style: For Canon EF/EF-S (Black)
A few things you should know before purchasing this lens. It is FULL MANUAL, it says that upfront in the instructions. That being said, there are NO PINS, nothing to connect the lens' functions to the camera, so adapters won't work. Make sure you get the proper version for your camera. For example, I got the Canon ef/ef-s mount. It works fine with my T5i, 7DII, and 5DIV. However, my M50 and R6 with ef/ef-s adapters do not allow the cameras to shoot because without adapter pins to properly allow the lens to communicate to the body, the camera thinks the lens is loose, and will not fire. UPDATE: If the camera setting "release shutter without lens" is on, this may allow the adapters to work, however, your aperture setting will still read f00. The fit is tight and secure however, so you just have to make sure you get the proper version of this lens for the body to which you want to attach it. That said, it is what it is. Its a $50 novelty lens that indeed gets you 400-800mm. Its basically a kid telescope that you can attach to a dslr. Good focus IS possible for sharp photos with patience and good settings. To a point. LOTS of light is needed. Remember, this is full manual so aperture shrinks as you move from 400 to 800. Wanna shoot astro? Just be ready to accept grainy photos because your ISO is going to have to be STELLAR (see what I did there?) There is no way around it, its just a slow lens. The adjustment rings are solid, tight and smooth, almost a bit too tight. I would not recommend using the foot to mount to a tripod if you have anything larger than an M50--the foot ring allows for rotational adjustment but just that. You cannot slide the ring to adjust for balance (Unless i missed something--seems to be slotted). But again--remember, youre not paying 2K+ for this. Its a novelty lens, good for telephoto kicks, or to see if yo need 800mm (assuming you can get your mind past the shortcomings). Its solid, doesnt feel like a cheap piece of plastic, like its going to fall apart. The optics aren't amazing, but again--50 bucks for an 800mm... ... show more

  • New Photographer on a budget? Worth the money spent!
Style: For Canon RF (R-series)
I was looking for a longer range telephoto for my new Canon R100. Because I typically try and shoot manually, it hasn’t been a major inconvenience. Having a lens with Auto-Focus will be my next investment because if you do any type of birding or nature photography, the subject doesn’t typically stay still for long. My only negative mark for this lens so far is the zoom lock not really locking fully. Image quality is very good as you can see from the attached photos. Was well worth the money spent. Fit my Canon R100 with no issues. ... show more
