Description
The Tekton 28-pc. Ball End Hex L-Key Set includes the most common inch hex key sizes from 0.050 to 3/8 inch and 1.3 to 10 mm stored in durable holders with self-aligning key slots that allow keys to be removed and inserted without moving others out of the way. The L-keys are made with 8660 nickel chromium molybdenum steel that's heat-treated to HRC 54-58 to produce tools that are hard, but not brittle. As a result, the maximum torque of the L-keys consistently exceeds the ASME standards for minimum torsion load and the ISO standards for minimum proof torque. The L-keys are coated with a durable manganese phosphate finish that’s resistant to corrosion. With the exception of the smallest sizes, L-key sizes are marked in two ways–both with a high- visibility laser marking and a stamped marking.

This will be the last set of Allen wrenches you ever buy. I couldn’t ever find sets that would stay together or not slip apart. Great set, real strong, love the ball on the ends.

Great set of Allen wrenches

Very satisfied with the Tekton Allen wrenches, these are a lot longer than you’re average “long” Allen wrench set, longest Ive ever seen actually. Quality is good, well made and the holder for the wrenches are well made and hold tight. Caught them on discount, but even paying regular price I would be happy. I like that they are clearly marked, I’ve used other Allen wrench sets and they end up in a junk drawer because I can’t figure out which set they came from, these I won’t have any problem figuring it out.

I've been looking for a complete extra long arm set, this one has what I need and didn't break the bank. Quality is very good, better than some name brands I've purchased in the past. The case is very sturdy too, nothing has slipped out so far.

I bought this set so I can use the holders for holding the t handle Allen wrenches. Does what I needed them to do. The Allen wrenches that come with these are longer than other kits. Tools quality seems to match other name brands but I haven’t used them enough to test durability.

Nice to have all three sets in organizers. Everything is sturdy. It DOES take some force to push the wrenches from the holder, but this is good, and means the small ones won't fall out some day. Good product at a good price.
