  • High quality, accurate and easy to use.
Size: 3/8, 1/2 Inch Drive (2-Piece) Pattern Name: Wrench
I was looking for a high quality set of torque wrenches for my son. After much research I landed on these and I'm happy I did. These work well they're accurate and they have several common Sense features. Doesn't hurt that they look as good as they function.

  • Pleasure to use.
Size: 3/8, 1/2 Inch Drive (2-Piece) Pattern Name: Wrench
I've used a lot of different micrometer torque wrenches. This is my first beam wrench. First the bad: the head is not reversible like my aviation micrometer wrenches, nor is the ratchet reversible, so you'll not be torquing reverse threaded fasteners or measure release torque on a conventional fastener. On the other hand, It work fine for 98% of what I normally use such a wrench for so it's my new go to. The good: the long handle is a pleasure to torque say lug nuts to 140 ft lbs than some shorter handled wrenches I've used and the head pivots a little to clear a tire or surface without an extension. The adjustment is super fast with the small nob, super easy to read in just about any lighting since it's not just engraved markings, is secure since it's protected by a cover that snaps over it when not adjusting, and can be left at whatever setting intentionally or accidentally without fear of ruining a spring like the micrometer style wrenches. The click is very distinctly audible and tactile. I also love how the wrench is boxy instead of round so it doesn't roll around on the floor or in a drawer and I can even step on it while I pull the socket off with no need to press a socket release button like some other wrenches. There are certainly cheaper, smaller, lighter, crappier torque wrenches out there, but if you use torque wrenches a lot, consider this American wrench set for your tool box. ... show more

  • So far so good
Size: 3/8, 1/2 Inch Drive (2-Piece) Pattern Name: Wrench
Stepped up to these from standard click type and so far have worked great. I use mine daily and i like the fact that they are “set and forget”. If I dont remove the tension its not going to destroy them or stretch the spring.

  • Seems like good torque wrenches
Size: 3/8, 1/2 Inch Drive (2-Piece) Pattern Name: Wrench
I'm a retired mechanic shop owner and let go of my digital electronic Snap-on torque wrenches but I wanted to have something around and split beam was always the reliable way to go glad I found these

  • Not good for quality of work I do! Torque specs are not good.
Size: 3/8, 1/2 Inch Drive (2-Piece) Pattern Name: Wrench
These two Torque Wrenches are not even close to what they claim to be. My job does not allow for more than .003 off. And my job has to test these two Torque wrenches before I can use them. And after the time and money I have wasted I have to send them back for a refund! Tests made from my job were made which says that they are way off 3/8 is around 5ftlbs off and the 1/2 was 9ftlbs off not acceptable! ... show more

  • Works well, head can pinch if not careful
Size: 3/8, 1/2 Inch Drive (2-Piece) Pattern Name: Wrench
I really like these split beam torque wrenches. I use them to maintain aircraft at work and automobiles and farm equipment at home. I love that I don’t have to return them to zero and that the dial is easy to adjust, no more handle twisting to adjust torque settings. The only gripe I have is that the 1/2” drive adjustable head can pinch my fingers if I’m not careful with it. Other than that small issue these are a good buy for me and I expect them to last many years. ... show more
