Would rate 3.5/5 if possible. Decent fit, comfort, etc.... The finish work is pretty ho-hum, the pull tab on the back came loose 4th time wearing, the leather quality is average, and the speed laces, etc.... have a lower quality feel. There were some sewing flubs also here and there. Nice boots fashion wise, and decent if bought at a discount, but a very average shoe. ... show more

These boots are very comfortable and true to size, but only after wearing them maybe a dozen times, just walking around, nothing heavy or hard on the boots, the sole of the boot has separated from the heel, almost a third of the way up the boot. In the process of trying to get a refund

The boots are comfortable, look good, and fit well. Nice and light too. I was right to order half a size down. Not sure how well they will wear but I’ll have to wait and see My biggest complaint though is that the boots arrived scratched up and in a replacement box. I opted to buy them new so seeing them arrive scratched and in an Amazon box rather than the original one raises some suspicious about whether or not I was sent used boots ... show more

I have two pairs of synthetic material boots from Eastland that I love, so these were a must. Probably not a work boot, but I wear them casually almost daily and the quality holds up well with about 2 miles of walking a day. I get constant compliments on the look, they are comfortable, the leather is not too thick so I can wear it year round in AZ. I use an insole with all my boots, otherwise a half size smaller might be necessary. I also have skinny bony feet and these would be better for a wider type foot. Regardless, it's my favorite pair to wear now with business casual or jeans. I got the brown ones and I'm going to buy the black ones as soon as I can afford it. I should also say that the leather was easy to condition to get them to a slightly darker brown like I prefer. The out of the box lighter brown looked great too, I just prefer a darker coffee color. ... show more

I see how they saved money on production here - skived down the leather to about 3mm. It is actual leather, but it feels thin and cheap. It also has an unnatural finish on the outside, somehow plasticized or synthetically sealed. I bought as summer-weight work shoes. For that they're OK...but just. No arch support and the footbed is a weird, glued-in, cloth-covered foam that does not reach out to the edges of the sole. It is a good 1/4" or more short on all sides. But the glue job is not that effective. Once it wears down, it could be ripped out and replaced with a real footbed. Final Verdict: Overpriced for what it is. ... show more

Excellent pair of boots. They’re unlined and fit great. The leather feels great as well. Highly recommend these with some dark wash indigo jeans. It completes the look.

The description said they run large. There was no wide width. Took a chance and ordered my size. I wear an E or double EE width. It fits really well. Comfortable. Wore them all day for 3 days after I received them. They are well made and the leather is between work boot thickness and regular shoe thickness ... show more
