I probably won't use these more than 10 or 12 times per year but so far they have been holding up very well. I primarily use them for removing heavy tractor tires. Mostly they are pair with a Milwaukee 3/4" impact gun. Makes for a really good combination. Plus they have enough mass to work on almost any fastener. Great value for the dollar. Over 40 lbs quality heavy duty socket set. I chose TEKTON as I have had a number of their other sizes in the past and always found them to be good quality and I have had no problem with them. I was reluctant to spend the money since I don't have need of such large sockets often, but when they are needed, down time is painful. Glad I bought them. I believe quality tools are always a good value and these are fine without spending even more for the very high end mechanics sets. Homestead, farm and ranch use they are perfect. Functionality is great, I really like the quick release function of the ratchet. I also appreciate having the good assortment of sizes to fit my needs. So many sets skip sizes and when they do, the ones missing are ALWAYS the ones you need. I forgot how heavy a set like this would be. Being an old codger like me, they certainly get your attention when you pick up the case and find it over 40 lbs! Very useful for removing Budd style wheels. Comes with all the socket sizes that are reasonable to use s 3/4 impact on, and a 3/4 square socket for removing studs from Budd style dual wheels. The ratchet handle is sized so a 1" OD pipe will slip over it to use as a breaker bar. The ratchet seems sturdy enough to not have to worry about breaking it when using a 6' snipe and floor jack. ... show more

I needed a nice, complete 3/4 socket set. And I found it. I’m a diesel/ fleet mechanic by trade. I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but the sockets have held up well, are labeled nicely, and I think this set will last forever. For the price, I think it’s a good deal. I really have become a fan of Tekton tools over the last few years. Just as nice as some of my Snap-On, Matco, Cornwell stuff. My only issue so far.. has been the plastic case. First, I guess I didn’t realize how large this set was, lol. It would have been cool if maybe they broke it down into two cases or something? Idk. The case takes up alot of space in my service truck. So I stand it up, but every time I remove/ open it, a few of the sockets don’t stay in place and I have to re-organize them. Not a huge deal, but annoying when I’m in a rush. I’m experimenting with adding more foam inside, or maybe a piece of cardboard. I’ll post an update in a few months. Besides that, it’s a great purchase. ... show more
