This hairbrush is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but that's completely fine. I don't need a gigantic-sized one. It's small, but very effective. I love the fact that it's all natural, which is why I made my purchased. My old plastic one was in dire need of replacing. The hole in this brush however does create a 'wooshing' sound when brushing your hair. (At least it does for me) Took a bit getting used to.

I believe Widu became Tek in 2019. My Widu brush lasted 8 years before the latex in the brush head started to collapse and the wooden bristles touched together. The Tek brush started to collapse in the first year (and well past the return date). It was still still useable but in 2 years the bristles are collapsed together and the brush unuseable. That said, when it works, it's comfortable, easy to clean, and I used to love it.

I have very long hair (down to my butt) and one thing that I am not cheap with is making sure that my hair stays healthy. While I was on instagram, I saw a “hair growing influencer” speak about how great this brush was. That’s when I began looking into it. I am constant testing and trying new products and brushes. I’ve used a lot of brushes during my hair growing journey and this one is amazing. It glides like butter through my hair and feels so good. Don’t skimp on your hair! Get this brush. Your hair and scalp with thank you.

Overall the quality of this product is excellent and has held up well since I’ve purchased about three months ago. My only complaint- I still get a small amount of static from brushing my hair with this brush. One of the reasons for buying a wooden brush was to negate the static effect. It could be that maybe I just have super “dry” hair and need to find a better balanced shampoo/conditioner. Who knows.

when i first started using it, i could see a lot of hair shedding out on the brush and i was kind of surprised. but now i have a feel for it and the brush is almost clean by the time im done using it. i use this and the natural boar bristle brush ive had for years to distribute the oil more. i usually wash my hair once every three weeks. I know that sounds disgusting but my hair is past my hips and i need as much oil as i can get to go all around my hair so it doesn't dry out. but this is the first time i've actually had to wash my hair once a week. im producing a lot more oil, maybe because the comb stimulates my scalp somehow? All i know is nothing about my diet, exercise or life has changed except buying this $35 comb and I'm becoming annoyed throughout the day because my scalp is hot with oil. and my hair looks great, so healthy and it feels good. and combing my hair has become a much better task with this tool. i know it's just a comb but my hair is really important so this is an important tool that people should invest in cuz everyone needs a comb so might as well get one good one.

I didn’t want to spend so much money on a brush but it’s the best brush I’ve ever had. I can feel a difference when I use it. It is so gentle on my thin hair. So worth it. I am going to buy the other brushes as well! Absolutely love it!
