This heated throw is very soft and warm. I bought it for a friend, and she is thrilled with it, as she is always cold in the winter. It's lightweight and washable, too. With 3 heat settings, anyone can find the right personal level of comfort. The cord seems to be sturdy, and the throw will cover most anyone. I love sitting in my glider with this blanket over me. I wish it would heat to a higher temp, but that's probably a health safety issue. The control device, however is designed very poorly -- it is easy to inadvertantly turn the heat on and off as the buttons are flush with the surface of the control and just lifting the control unit can change the heat setting or turn the heat on or off

I really like how soft this blanket it, my cats love it too, but I was disappointed that it didn’t get very warm. It is barely warm at all. I got it for the cold winter nights but I feel like it isn’t enough. Would not buy again.
