Soft mat with exercises imprinted by level. Would be good for hard floors I have carpet where the inversion table is located but the mat does give exercises on it that can be performed.

Honestly, as a newbie to this teeter, I have yet to be able to really benefit from this mat other than it providing something for my inversion table to sit on. I should have just bought a thicker, more padded mat. My cat also comes over and shreds of be material with his nails.
