Works as prescribed. I used it for my shed door. Make sure you read the instructions. A lot of reports about the lock doesn’t work properly is because of user’s fault such as wrong installation and not properly aligning the latch with a strike plate, and obstructions inside the strike plate. Make sure the latch travels all the way unobstructed (such as not hitting/rubbing the strike plate or the door jamb) when you open or close as it could result the lock malfunction and auto-unlatch. What I like: ease of installation, simple and yet clean look, easy to operate, and great price. What I don’t like: no Bluetooth functionality to open the door with your phone (but for this price it wasn’t really intended). Battery life is yet to be determined. ... show more

I’m replacing a kiwilock that lasted 4 years. It took 40 mins to remove old, install and program this lock. The function is different than my last one. Instead of hitting the logo name to lock, you hit a button. Program is simple and the darn thing worked. I’m A single female and did it myself. Ladies don’t hire nobody to install this budget keyless entry. You can do it yourself. Make sure you put the wire under the door screw otherwise you will have to unscrew and move the wire on the second hole. ... show more
