    • Worth it for a browsing only laptop at $299.
Probably the best value low cost laptop for $299 on Amazon at the moment. Decent storage size and cpu with a clear screen, extremely lightweight, and doesn't overheat. Fortunately this comes with a proper Windows 10 installation rather than the light/X version so you won't have issues with that terrible OS. I had tried another smaller laptop similar in price which had tons of issues but mostly with bad and low quality peripherals like the WIFI card. This doesn't have those issues. The only thing I've run into is stretching the RAM out when having too many tabs of... content... pulled up in Firefox, which is to be expected. Just fine one great video, and achieve! Highly recommend for your bedside laptop or something that isn't your phone/tablet. ... show more

first, I'm not tech-savvy and use a laptop like many use their phones. I've had brand names ones until I bought this one hoping my simple usage would be fine for this product. it's not user-friendly to me and paying extra for a 15" for streaming Netflix etc wasn't a good decision as it's very dark and hard to see details. even Disney-bright kid movies are shaded - but much better. it's just that I like sci-fi and it's frustrating. also little but important oddities. ... show more

    • They print their emblem on the screen. Heres how to remove it without hurting the screen.
Spray some WD-40 on a paper towel. Rub it on the insignia let it sit about 30 seconds . Use your finger nail and scratch on it, rub more WD-40 on it as you go. It will take a few minutes to remove it. When your done wipe the screen with some alcohol to remove the greasiness from the WD-40. SIDE NOTE: WD-40 works great to remove sticker and price tag stickiness. I've used it on all kinds of surfaces even wood furniture. ... show more
