I have searched and searched for a fountain that would satisfy me like this one. I have had many that did not last, nor did they provide the ambiance of this one. I love that it holds so much water that 1) it is not easy to knock over 2) I don't have to worry about the pump running dry. But most of all, it is just so appealing to the eye. The media could not be loaded. I have a red cushioned patio, and for a change I was looking for a red fountain, and discovered this one. It is just the right height, is light weight whilst easily setting up, but heavy when you add 6 gallons of water so it won’t blow over. Another reason I like it is because of the water it takes to fill. My other fountain took only 2 gallons of water, and in the Texas heat it evaporated very quickly. Love the gentle flow of water and the lighted areas. Great fountain for a great price. ... show more

I like that this fountain is low maintenance. There is no catch basin for leaves and debris. Water does not splash so the water level is only impacted by evaporation. It makes a soft burble sound. The lights at night are warm. It fits great next to our entry door and looks like real ceramic
