  • A Graphics Designer's Review of the TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 32GB RAM
Size: 32GB(2x16GB) - 3600MHz CL18 Color: Red
As a graphics designer, I'm constantly pushing my PC to its limits. So, when it came time to upgrade my RAM, I needed something that could handle heavy workloads without breaking a sweat. I purchased the TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 32GB kit, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. First Impressions: Straight out of the box, these RAM sticks impressed me with their sleek, red design. They're not just eye candy, though. The aluminum heat sinks feel sturdy and well-built, inspiring confidence in their ability to handle heat dissipation under pressure. Installation was a breeze – even for someone like me who's not exactly a tech wizard. The DDR4 standard ensures compatibility with most modern motherboards, and the XMP 2.0 profile makes overclocking a breeze (though I haven't felt the need to push it further yet). Performance Boost: The real magic happens when you fire up your favorite graphics-intensive software. From rendering complex 3D models to juggling multiple design projects simultaneously, the Vulcan Z RAM has been a revelation. Everything feels smoother, faster, and more responsive. Photoshop loads in a flash, After Effects renders without a hitch, and even multitasking between demanding applications is a breeze. Stability Under Pressure: The best part? No crashes, no freezes, no lag. Even when I'm pushing my system to its max, the Vulcan Z RAM has remained rock-solid stable. This is crucial for anyone who relies on their PC for their livelihood, and it's something I truly appreciate. Value for Money: At around $64 for the 32GB kit, the Vulcan Z RAM offers incredible value for money. Compared to other high-performance RAM options, it's competitively priced and delivers exceptional performance. Overall: If you're a graphics designer, video editor, or anyone who needs their PC to handle demanding workloads, the TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 32GB RAM is a fantastic choice. It's fast, stable, reliable, and surprisingly affordable. It's definitely earned a permanent spot in my workstation, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serious performance upgrade. Here are some additional points to consider: The red color might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's a nice change from the usual black RAM sticks. Make sure your motherboard supports DDR4! Consider your specific needs: 32GB is great for most users, but if you work with exceptionally large files, you might need more. I hope this review helps you decide if the TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 RAM is the right choice for you. If you're looking for a reliable and affordable way to boost your PC's performance, I can't recommend it enough! ... show more

  • Good ram from a trusted brand works well
Size: 32GB(2x16GB) - 3600MHz CL18 Color: Gray
After a year or so of testing I can say that they are good quality, haven't run into any instability with them, they look nice and are decently fast. I haven't tried overclocking them because I have a separate set of different memory in the same computer, but they run great

  • Tough choice in my rig upgrading.
Size: 32GB(2x16GB) - 3600MHz CL18 Color: Gray
The RAM was the toughest upgrade to choose for me, cause I didn't know how to feel about the RGB ram cause I seen some shade reviews, so I went with this cause the reviews were great, price was amazing, and I had read where one of the streamers that pops up on my FB feed uses this ram so I was like yea, let's go. Really snug fit on my x570 mobo but I really likes that so I know it was secure. Speeds are great, went with 3600mhz and it's incredibly noticabke how much faster it is, had a error pop after post, but it was just a error where I put them in dimm 1 and 3 and forgot I had my mobo set to dimms 2 and 4 so it was a user error on my part, haven't yet monitored my temps but will run a little more to break in before I start monitoring that aspect, so all in all super nice and fast. ... show more

  • Don't expect to reach 3600mhz, even with XMP enabled.
Size: 32GB(2x16GB) - 3600MHz CL18 Color: Gray
**EDIT** After only a few days of owning, my computer has stopped wanting to boot at even 3000mhz. It seems that my ram may have compatibility issues when trying to run them at any speeds faster than my motherboard's base speed. Not sure if faulty or not tbh ;( ***Original Review*** Upon installing my two 3600mhz sticks of ram, I realized in task manager that they were running at only 2400mhz. Turns out that I wasn't too well informed that I would have to update the settings in my bios to be able to achieve higher speeds. Upon reading into it through forums, I found that 3600mhz is only the top speeds the ram *can* achieve. In my case, I was only able to achieve 3000mhz without my system crashing. The ram fully detects, although I am sad that my XMP mode on my Z270-a Pro couldn't boot with anything higher than 3100mhz, with 3000mhz being the only stable option. (I have an i7 7700k for context). I understand that manual tweaking can produce higher speeds, but I could not easily locate a document on which power settings might work best for this specific memory. Other than this, I am very happy to have 32gb of ram finally at the least, and for the price this is definitely one of the better options. I recommend this ram, but know that this problem seems to be normal I guess? I'm saddened, but it seems it is probably the best problem to have. Here's to opening more chrome tabs, and Happy New Year everyone! ... show more

  • No Errors
Size: 32GB(2x16GB) - 3600MHz CL18 Color: Red
Hello, I put the T>Force Volcan Z 32gb 3600mhz in an Asus Rog Strix X570, AMD 5600g apu mini itx build and went into bios changed the memory from the 2400mhz, which was replaced, to the advertised 3600mhz for this memory kit, booted and ran 5 memory checks to see if there were going to be errors due to the complaints here on Amazon for this memory kit. I have overclocked the cpu a bit at 4ghz. I have got to say I am impressed so far and there were NO ERRORS and when running in the network as the server with five other computers pounding on it this build had no ERRORs or laps time, the input and output was instant. I believe this is also due to the apu and its 6 core 12 threads. With the G-Skill 2400 there was small variations in laps times from the processing computer to the server and download to a second computer. This memory kit also has a lower profile heat spreader than the G-Skill I took out, which gave me more room for cable management due to the A09 mini itx case found on ebay and ordered out of Hong Kong. The A09 case was the only case I could find that was deep enough for the stock AMD cpu cooling fan in a mini itx build. Even though it took time to receive the case. I am in the process of building a second almost exact system to run as a server. The difference is going to be the case and fan. I will give an update if I have any problems with the second memory kit. TJ P.S. I have been building computers since 1997, you know back in the less than one gig cpu days. Update: The second build is having heating problems due to the case and using a low-profile fan by Noctua NH-L9a. The stock fan was too high for the case. I have to admit, I was running 3 applications at the same time and watching a movie while I started to notice the overheating and lag time in the mouse curser. You know what they say, if it works do not fix it. Back to the Hong Kong case and stock colling fan. ... show more
