  • Gotta go with that TUF theme!
Size: 32GB(2x16) Style: DDR4 3200MHz 16-20-20-40 Color: TUF Gaming Edition
In case you're confused on the headline, I decided to do a TUF Gaming build. Now this isn't an original idea, but when I went poking around to do a new build, its something I came up with on my own... initially. So when I went around the internet forums looking for ideas, I came across a video build of the ASUS TUF variety. This person was building a rig that housed almost ALL ASUS branded hardware. This piqued my interest, so I went around collecting all the goodies, including this ram. The T-Force ram group is new to me, since i'm coming from corsair and gskill. But I wanted to stay as true to the TUF theme as possible, and the video had these listed so I gave it a shot. The qvl ASUS has for the TUF Gaming X570 pro WIFI II doesn't list these, so bear that in mind if you're not going to bend in that regard. Moving on... Install is straight forward and simple, you can only install it 1 way. The other way breaks the ram or ram slot, so don't do that. They are of the same dimensions as your typical stick of ram, with the typical rgb lighting in the typical spot. Heatsinks are good, nothing was peeling off when I examined them for any obvious defects. Overall, your typical ram. RGB however, was a different story. And its also why I subtracted a star for stability. As of this writing, they're behaving with the aura sync software provided by ASUS and supposedly supported by T-Force. What's happening, is when a rgb theme is loaded up (starry night in ASUS armor crate, check it out), it'll run like it's supposed to. However after a few hours, or a day, i'll notice that one of the ram sticks has locked itself on 2 colors and nothing else. No movement of color, no fade, no nothing. And just one stick, not the other. Now i'm not sure if its the rgb, or the software. There's no way to test rgb unfortunately. I'm going to assume and say its the software because i reinstalled the armor crate which the aura sync runs under, and for the time being that stick of ram is behaving. But that could change. Anyhow, I have 2 sticks slotted into that ASUS TUF X570 pro I mentioned, supporting a ryzen 7 5800x and having no issues. For you gamers, i've run Star Citizen at max settings, and you number crunchers I run World Community Grid and i'm cranking out completed tasks. Both of these are accomplished with zero lag while doing other tasks on the pc (youtube, newsfeeds, etc etc). No, the ram is not overclocked. I'll tinker with memclocks and voltages when winter rolls around and everything shuts down (I live in the north, snow sucks). In the end, buy with confidence. I took a chance on another brand and for now, its paying off. Good luck on your build! ... show more

  • I got it to work, after it bricked my computer
Size: 32GB(2x16) Style: DDR4 3200MHz 16-20-20-40 Color: black
I thought this would be easy to install, just plug it in, right? I did and it bricked my computer (it was compatible with the RAM). I thought I was doomed because I tried putting the old RAM back in and it wouldn’t even let me get on my pc. My boyfriend had to help since he is more computer savvy than I am but eventually he got it to work. I’m not sure what he had to do but a good google search might help. Just be careful when buying this and do your research on installment. When I was able to log in finally, only 1 out of 2 were showing up as available RAM. I think I had to update it and then the 2 were recognized. Had it not been for my BF helping me, I would be screwed! It is not as easy as I thought it would be. Other than that, it has significantly improved my computers performance. It’s not as slow and I’m no longer getting messages that it has “run out of memory” when simply browsing the internet. I have a gaming PC so it only made sense for me to increase the RAM and also get the color changing ones. It’s been a few months and they still work great. I would recommend this product. ... show more

  • DDR5-7200, Hynix dies
Size: 32GB(2x16) Style: DDR5 7200MHz 34-42-42-84 Color: black
So far so good. Hit the XMP profile, checked CPU-Z to see if the DRAM speed was a 3600mhz (3600 X 2 = 7200MT/s... or so they say), and I pulled the system through a few benchmarks to make sure the system wouldn't crash. I didn't have to tweak anything like the System Agent voltage to make it work. Hynix dies according to both CPU-Z and Thaiphoon Burner. Paired with a 13900k that I just upgraded to along with an MSI z690 Unify-X. I wouldn't recommend this kit of DDR5-7200 RAM to anyone with a 12th Gen processor due to 12th Gen processors having a weaker memory controller. 12th Gen processors seem to cap out at a 32gb kit of DDR5-6400, and won't go much higher without major tweaking of the voltages. Only get this if you have a 13th Gen CPU. ... show more

  • Ordered by mistake, but not mad
Size: 32GB(2x16) Style: DDR4 3200MHz 16-20-20-40 Color: white
Meant to order 2x8gb (16gb kit) ordered this 2x16(32gb kit) by mistake, was upgrading a portable gaming PC I take over to a friend's that already had 16gb. I was a little disappointed in myself for getting the wrong kit, don't quite need 48gb total, 32 would have been more than enough, but at the same time I'm not mad I got extra. Got these sticks because they match the ones I already had installed design wise ... show more

  • Wouldn't run at the advertised 3200 Mhz
Size: 32GB(2x16) Style: DDR4 3200MHz 16-20-20-40 Color: black
Bought a used computer and upgraded the GPU, CPU, and RAM. Computer was unstable for months. I even returned the GPU, thinking that was the issue since my games kept crashing. I pulled my hair out while doing extensive research on GPU, CPU, etc. since I have been out of the PC game for a while. Finally, after months, I finally did research on RAM and found out that the max speed on RAM is not guaranteed since it's OC. Changed the speed to 3133 Mhz and computer runs perfect. They should pay for my hair replacement. ... show more

Size: 16GB(2x8) Style: DDR4 3200MHz 16-18-18-38 Color: black
They snapped into the motherboard beautifully. They look well. the ARGB works well with the motherboard software. They hit the speeds and capacity that were advertised.

  • EXPENSIVE, but a great kit.
Size: 32GB(2x16) Style: DDR5 7600MHz 36-46-46-84 Color: black
Boots up just fine on XMP1 in ASUS Z690 Hero motherboard with 13900k using latest bios. Need to find time to go in and overclock further, but pretty happy. Only con is the price, but I guess it what happens when you a enthusiast.
