Received and put together recently with an aim of storing kayaks in the basement during the winter. So I haven’t yet subjected the rack to a full load. Only one of the four boat positions is in use so far. With that caveat, here are my impressions. The rack arrived well packaged with no parts missing or damaged. In fact, there were one or two extras of some of the smallest parts (washers, nuts, bolts). The assembly instructions were good — some further detail would have improved them but they were easy enough to follow. The parts went together without difficulty and the end result seems to be a sturdy rack that should meet my needs. As I won’t be using it outside, it’s ability to withstand the effects of weather aren’t a concern for me. It might or might not be good in this regard. I just don’t know. What I do know is that you need metric tools (sockets, wrenches) to put it together, which isn’t specified anywhere that I saw. I’m glad I had them, as I would have been pretty frustrated otherwise.

I shopped around for a replacement kayak rack for my two Pungos and found this Teal Triangle Freestanding G-Watersport 2 Kayak outdoor rack on Amazon. Only one that had stainless steel hardware. Ordered it and was delivered by Fed-X two days later. Shipping box pristine and double strapped. Assembly easy with a helper to hold frame in place. Quality packaging! Not a single scratch on anhything. Packaging designed to PROTECT their product. Easy assembly that went very quickly. I have this rack on the side of my garage on two leveled 5 foot 4x4 pressure treated ground contact timbers. Drilled frame and screwed to timbers. Rack is rock solid with two Pungos on it. If I could rate this at 10 stars, I would. Totally satisfied. One quality product.

It works!!! We had kayaks and paddle boards laying all around and I had enough. I purchased this for my husband (it really was for me 😀). It wasn’t easy to put together, but not hard either. Directions were excellent. It’s definitely solid and heavy. We had one part that was not drilled correctly so we had to start a return. The company was great and send us a new one. We returned the original and the new one had everything we needed. I wished they could’ve just sent us the one part we needed rather than sending the whole thing back (thus, the 4 stars). It fit perfectly in our garage and it holds everything I had hoped and more! It also looks very sleek. Stability is excellent. I would put the heavier water craft on the first level and work up from there. I wouldn’t put it outside where we live near the ocean. Everything metal rusts where we live. Also, considering how much it holds, it really doesn’t take up that much space. Measure carefully to make sure it fits in your particular setting.

Went together easily. Best if you use socket wrenches for nuts and self locking nuts on stand. Rack components for kayaks are an easy install with post and lock feature. Handles weight and tilt for kayaks easily holds them in place. But recommend for safety to use bungee cords to ensure they stay in place.

Bought the three kayak version. Holds two large kayaks effectively in the bottom two racks. Use the top rack for paddles. I move this to the garage for storage in the off season and use it outside for seasonal use. Extremely study. Easy to put together.
