This is a terrific piece - I searched high and low for a reasonably priced dresser that was sturdy, had large drawers, and was aesthetically interesting...and this Harvey Park dresser delivered on all fronts! It seemed fairly easy to put together (full disclosure: I did not participate in that part but I didn't hear too much crashing and swearing, so) and the drawers slide out easily without seeming rickety or like the front face is going to rip off in your hand like many other MDF pieces. The white boxy frame blends with the IKEA pieces I have in the same room while the beautiful drawer design gives a great pop and makes things not so blah (blah being an unfortunate key component of Swedish furniture, IMO). I loaded it full of bulky sweatshirts/sweatpants and had plenty of room for everything - being able to fit more than two clothing items stacked is a huge plus in my book and exactly what I had hoped for. Bought the matching 4-drawer chest as well, also a great piece and value item. Very happy with this purchase!

Follow the instruction and you should have no issues. I saw some people complain about things being loose because they didn't tighten the screws completely. Obviously if you don't screw things in all the way it will be loose. The instructions specifically state how to, how much, and even when to tighten everything. It does take a bit of time to put together but well worth it. Great quality and no missing pieces, but rather some extra screws. Drawers slide smoothly and are quite big. I used a screwdriver and hammer, but definitely helpful if you have a drill, as it can be tiring to screw manually after a while. It is a bit heavy when you put it all together so if you don't have a helping hand, put it together close to the location you want to put it. I like that the screws in the instruction packet match the in-person size so you can tell each one apart as you go.

Good: looks as good as the pictures IRL, feels sturdy despite being engineered wood, overall worth it. Not good: 2025 version of the product is noticeably smaller than the 2024 version. One probably wouldn’t notice if they were in different spots in a room, but when placed side by side, the 2025 one shows significant downsizing of its height and depth. This will basically ruin any hopes one had for a room design that would’ve brilliantly showcased two of these pieces together and may sour one’s outlook for the rest of their day. If you like this enough to want more than one, order all of them at the same time. Things to know: it’s heavy and large, plan to have at least one other person around for assembly. Also a power drill as another reviewer said. It’ll take longer than you think.

I was hesitant to order, but I’m happy I did! I liked this specific dresser because I absolutely love pottery barn and west elm furniture, but I didn’t want to spend $2,000 on a dresser in this economy. This dresser gives the same look & it’s great quality in my opinion. It’s not super heavy, but it’s very sturdy, and heavy enough. I don’t regret purchasing this for my apartment. I’d say it’s a great dupe if you’re shopping for quality furniture on a budget. It was a simple put together, just very time consuming in my opinion, but it was only me and my boyfriend figuring it out.

Never again. I thought this was the same dresser i bought from Walmart 4+ years ago. The veneer and design and pieces are almost identical, though turns out there’s a slight size difference. The last one was a quality dresser. This one, despite having basically the same parts, is not. First off, it arrived with damaged pieces, particularly the heavy top piece. I filled out the company’s form for a replacement and they said to ask for help from Amazon, so Amazon sent me a second one, and i swapped the tops and scheduled a pick up of the box for the return. Turns out the new top was also damaged, also along the most important to front edge, so they have a systemic issue of not protecting this piece. I contacted Amazon to ask for a 50% credit due to the damage i was now stuck with. Then i tried to assemble the frame with the top. Oh boy, there is NO STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY. The cheap plastic threads would not stay in the particle board top when i tried to tilt it back upright. And i couldn’t tilt the weak frame without the top as my wingspan isn’t long enough to reach both sides and it would otherwise twist from the weight of the other side and fall apart. I had to use my engineer’s brain to figure out how to do this without asking a friend to drive out here. Disconnect one side, flip it upright, tilt everything back 45 degrees so i could reattach the side and screw underneath, and then tilt back upright without it breaking. Then sit the top back on top, but that top is not secured very well. There will be no moving with this dresser. The moment someone tries to lift it from the top it will fall apart. What a POS. Meanwhile my walmart one has made several moves with me. Oh and the cherry on top? You are only allowed to open one drawer at a time. There’s a locking mechanism that enforces this. I didn’t have any problem with my Walmart one tipping, and it was basically the same parts without the locking mechanism. So unnecessary. And i like to air out my drawers due to the humid weather. This entire experience was such a hassle. I should’ve asked for more than a 50% credit. This was the worst assembly I’ve had to deal with, and the product is worthless since it won’t stay together if someone picks it up. If you do buy this, you must have two people involved to tilt it back up and be very careful not to let the top fasteners pull out.

I’ve had this dresser for a few years now and I still love it so much. It was a great purchase and has held up well even through a long distance move. It was easy to assemble but getting the drawers right was a bit tricky. You have to have the right one in the right space. I love the detailing of the diamond shapes. It is quite heavy but because it is good quality. The drawers are also very large giving lots of room for storage!

Mixed feelings about this dresser. The product arrived damaged, but the manufacturer quickly shipped a replacement for the damaged part. Later I discovered that other parts were also slightly damaged, but I was still able to put it together. It’s easy to build, but takes forever. The product is extremely heavy. Overall it looks beautiful and expensive, the drawers slide well, and there’s a good amount of storage space. I’m using it in my living room for miscellaneous storage and it’s perfect. However, you basically can’t put anything on it without scratching the top. As others have mentioned, the material is somehow so delicate and prone to scratches. I haven’t placed anything heavy or sharp on the top, yes it already has dents and dings. So frustrating. The handles and edges are also all scratched up, and I’ve had to fill in the damages with wood markers. Other than that, the product is excellent and I’m happy to have it in my home. If I can find a glass top that fits perfectly to protect it, i’ll have to get it

This dresser is one of the many different pieces of furniture that we have purchased through the years. It seems like the quality and engineering get better each time. The instructions are very explicit and easy to understand. Shipment/Delivery Comments Very heavy but, mostly in good shape. One drawer side piece was damaged, but I was able to glue and repair it. The underside of the top was marred a little, but it will never show.
