Initially the order came in with an issue with the lid. Reluctant to reach out to the seller to avoid the runaround, I requested a refund. Amazed with their follow up TCMT was determined to make it right and sent out the replacement lid as soon as possible without the inconvenience of sending back the original. You will have to drill holes to make the pack fit the base and install the backrest. You will also have to caulk holes to make the tour pack waterproof. You do not receive any hardware to connect the base to the tour pack. You will also have to buy the support plate for inside the tour pack separately. The support plate comes with hardware to connect the base to the pack. If you have a license plate that is above the brake light, you will have to finagle it, bend the holder or buy a layback holder, to fit under the base as there isn't enough height to put the base on. Otherwise the quality is good for the cost.

To start off with I'll say that I'm very happy with the tour pack and give it 5 Stars. The only reason I can not give this item 5 starts is the customer service issue I had when reaching out to the vendor thru Amazon. For the product itself, It's well made and honestly looks amazing. The quality of the item is amazing, the color is a solid match for my bike and overall I'm beyond happy with it. All items were well packaged and received without damage. For the price of everything incorporated in this package, I feel is perfect as I feel I received a excellent product for an excellent price. The customer service issue I had was in reference to the mount that came with it. Initially, upon ordering this kit, it appeared to match up with the bike I was to install it on, however upon receiving it, I was able to quickly determine the tour pack mount was not compatible for my bike. I reached out to customer service for this vendor via Amazon messaging to inquire if I was able to make a even exchange for the correct mount. I went back and found the correct mount I needed and wanted to see if I could simply send the one I had back in the exchange for the correct one. I'm honestly not sure who I was messaging, possibly someone from amazon or someone from the vendor. Unsure of how to put this, but it was the stupidest conversation I've had in a long time. I wanted to send the mount back I had for the correct one and willing to pay the shipping fee of around $10-$12 to get it back to them, so they could simply send the one I needed as a even exchange. Well, this was not the case as we had the most illogical conversation for 3-4 days and this ridiculous transaction ended up with me getting a $10 credit on this order, so I could turn around and use it to order the one I need. So, I would have to spend another $50+ to get the mount I need, while I have one I cant use. I even went to vendor site and emailed them, b but was instructed to follow up thru amazon since that is where the order was placed. On this vendor site, the ask to not leave any negative comments and reach out to them directly to clear up complications-which I attempted to do. So, again I'm not sure who was play messaging tag with over this item to try and get a even exchange, however they had to lack any sort of common sense or ability to make a simple swap transaction take place. I'm still in the need for the correct mount if anyone with a logical brain is able to make this exchange happen.

Have to be modified. Had to add bushings to lift the trunk up more due to not able to open without rasing the trunk. Literally have to drill every hole in the trunk and the back rest.

Trunk looks awesome. The only issue and downfall is the mount. The mount that came was a little wide so it wouldn’t fit flush when trying to mount to trunk. Had to purchase risers to go between mount and trunk as well as other mounting hardware. Seat was pretty easy to install however, it would be nice to have some sort reference point as to where to drill holes. Other than that, contact with seller was great about a small issue with a scratch which they made right. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again.
