  • I was a skeptic but ultimately this is just a really good price on a decent Tour Pack
Color: Chopped Trunk Set #1
I was a skeptic and here’s my review of my purchase. Actual Tour Pak: Quality of the actual Tour Pak is surprisingly good for $300 shipped, especially when you take into account it came with a liner, seat back, piece of plate steel bracing that didn’t fit, and mounting bracket. The paint seems to be a perfect match, no fisheyes, dust, or obvious imperfections. It seems reasonably sturdy and not too thin; could in be slightly thicker? Sure, but for the money it’s definitely significantly better than I expected. Brace: I went ahead and just modified the brace to actually fit this model of Tour Pak but overall I’m good with thr 20mins and 3 cut off wheels I used to cut it to size. I do think the plate is actually a little thin and I may eventually beef it up as easily bent when I put it on the sander to smooth the edges. Either way easy fix Mounting Bracket: extremely tight fit, actually really had to work to get it on my RG’s stock docking hardware but it’s rock solid when it’s on, so assuming the hardware holds up I have nothing bad to say about it, even finish looks nice and doesn’t detract from the bike. Liner: cheap feeling but looks better than just a raw plastic inside, someday I may buy a nicer one but it literally came with so for the price it’s sufficient. Hardware: I got the all black, I think I probably should’ve gotten the chrome because it does look a little off l, but eventually I do plan to switch my saddle bag hardware to the Harley brand black and I think at that point it’ll be perfect. I do wish the hinges were installed with some kind of backing plate, so I may modify this in the future who knows. Like several people have mentioned the little ribbon thing that holds it from going to far open doesn’t seem sufficient to hold the weight of the seat back and tour pack lid. I’m sure if I had the smaller pad it would be sufficient or at least passable, but as it stands I think that be the very next thing I change on it. Armrest Seat Back: it’s fine, not quite as nice as my OEM seat but good enough that I’m totally fine with it. Installation: I can’t remember if they had instructions, I don’t think so but honestly it’s not hard to figure out where everything goes. None of the holes were pre-drilled but they where CLEARLY marked on the inside of the pack and everything lined up good once drilled. I did beef up some of the hardware to grade 8 stuff because honestly what they give you to mount the pack to the mounting plate seemed soft and so I didn’t trust it, so I spent maybe $10 on some washers, nuts, and bolts. Kind of a pain to make a special trip to the hardware store but I think adding the washers and getting stronger hardware was the right call. Shipping: I received the pack fast, the seat back on the other hand originally got “lost” by FedEx, they even agree they are the ones that lost it; but I’m a little skeptical as there are so many complaints about similar situations concerning missing parts and waiting for parts, so I’m a little suspicious but in the end everything arrived in a matter of a couple weeks, with most of it being here sooner than promised (3 business days for the everything but the seat back) Is a offical Harley pack nicer sure, absolutely, but for $300 I feel like the simple fact it doesn’t look too cheap or feel too cheap for being on a brand new bike I’m satisfied and even if it broke I literally could buy it 3 more times before I could’ve bought the Harley brand one and who knows if I’d even own the bike by then, or maybe I’ll switch it out to a King pack. ... show more

  • Great value for the money!!!!!
Color: King Pack Trunk Set #5
Amazing product however keep your expectations low. It’s not perfect and how can it be for the price. To get new parts that are genuine HD we all know that would be 5 times this price when all you want to do is upgrade and modernize your older looking bike. That ends up being more than you will ever get back. I have added my before and after pics of my 2009 ultra classic. The paint was a perfect match and I am more than pleased with the outlook. I changed the box, bag, front fender and head light for under $900. ... show more

  • It’s great!!
Color: Chopped Trunk Set #2
Great pack. It’s durable almost like I picked it up at Harley. Seals great in case you get sick in rain. Color is spot on. I would recommend to anyone. I gave 4 stars because of the assembly. All the holes are off. No pre drilled holes. Had to go to Home Depot to get a metal plate 12 x 12 to Mount the bottom bracket to on the inside of the top portion. There are circles where you drill the holes. Get extra washers. You need washers on both sides of each mounting bolt. The leather back rest you will have to drill holes for that too. Very easy cause I got lucky on the circles where you drill your hole it was on point. The holes to the mounting bracket was off. The latches are a nice color. Seems like they can do little better with the bracket. Had to hammer the locking thingy around the Getting new ones. I like the color of the latches. Could be allot better as far as durability. Seems little flimsy and might break. Will find out. Other than that it is a very nice tour pack. worth every penny and shipped really fast. I would recommend it. ... show more

  • Excellent Product! I would order again.
Color: A Style#5 King Trunk Backrest
Excellent product! I ordered this set and it arrived in two separate boxes. They did not arrive together so be patient. Install was easy and the trunk looks great on the bike. Looking forward to ordering the front fairing from this company. Customer support is excellent!

  • Pretty nice!
Color: Black King Trunk Backrest #02
Takes a little time to put together, the plate in the picture is metal so you don’t need to buy one,all nuts and bolts were there but you will have to search for them.the holes for the mounting bracket were all drilled.the rack and backrest you will have to drill but it’s just plastic I used a 5/16drill bit.finish is great.kinda heavy but I’m not carrying it a lot.well worth the money ... show more

  • Dangerous tour pack and garbage company to deal with!
Color: King Trunk Set #1
The trunk lid opens when you have a passenger and hit any sort of bump. The latch assembly has enough play in it that it allows the lid to open while you are riding. Tried it in the locked and unlocked position. Opened every single time we rode. Makes for a pretty uncomfortable feeling and a dangerous situation for the passenger! I think it has more to do with the flex in the tour pack itself than the latch. I contacted the seller and they insinuated I did not install the tour pack properly. It's on a flat luggage rack with a Harley Davidson mounting plate! Then they said they'd send me a new latch. I didn't believe that would help, but I wanted to give them a chance. A few days later they reached out and told me they mistakenly sent me an entire tour pack again instead of just the latch, then asked if I would send it back. I obviously said that I would. The tour pack was delivered and I let them know it arrived, then asked if the latch had been sent out. I was told that I had to send the pack back before they'd ship the latch to me. They held a $10 latch hostage until I sent back the pack that THEY sent to me in error! I could have just removed the latch from that new pack, but I'm not like that. They refused to send a new latch until I sent the mistakenly shipped pack back to them. I returned BOTH the new pack and the original pack. I'm not putting up with a company that punishes me for THEIR mistake. ... show more

  • The best bang for your buck.
Sturdy equipment and easy assembly and install. Not pre-drilled for the back rest but stamped on the interior for easy drilling. Arrived within a week. Overall, very pleased for the price.
