Powder coated 1.50" tubing with a simple 2-bolt connection between the front and rear halves, this is a nice looking and fairly well finished set of rock rails. The welding is generally good with a few spots of spatter that were covered. The hardware is all stainless, the instructions are solid and tools are provided though I used my 1/4 drive impact and an end wrench of my own to knock it out in under five minutes. It took longer to unpack and unwrap the components which came of of the box in perfect condition. Install is three bolts per side and rubber isolation pads are provided. The standoffs are welded tube as opposed to the plastic pieces that come with others. The front has an inward curve to prevent getting debris jammed in between the car and the slider. Should provide plenty of beef for using a jack. Ends are capped to keep debris and water out. ... show more
