Initially the order came in with an issue with the lid. Reluctant to reach out to the seller to avoid the runaround, I requested a refund. Amazed with their follow up TCMT was determined to make it right and sent out the replacement lid as soon as possible without the inconvenience of sending back the original. It was nice to experience what seems to have been abandoned in todays e commerce, customer service! The key to maintain customer loyalty and retention. As a result we are very happy with the final product and looks great on our Ultra Classic Electra Glide. I recommend TCMT to everyone. ... show more

To start off with I'll say that I'm very happy with the tour pack and give it 5 Stars. The only reason I can not give this item 5 starts is the customer service issue I had when reaching out to the vendor thru Amazon. For the product itself, It's well made and honestly looks amazing. The quality of the item is amazing, the color is a solid match for my bike and overall I'm beyond happy with it. All items were well packaged and received without damage. For the price of everything incorporated in this package, I feel is perfect as I feel I received a excellent product for an excellent price. The customer service issue I had was in reference to the mount that came with it. Initially, upon ordering this kit, it appeared to match up with the bike I was to install it on, however upon receiving it, I was able to quickly determine the tour pack mount was not compatible for my bike. I reached out to customer service for this vendor via Amazon messaging to inquire if I was able to make a even exchange for the correct mount. I went back and found the correct mount I needed and wanted to see if I could simply send the one I had back in the exchange for the correct one. I'm honestly not sure who I was messaging, possibly someone from amazon or someone from the vendor. Unsure of how to put this, but it was the stupidest conversation I've had in a long time. I wanted to send the mount back I had for the correct one and willing to pay the shipping fee of around $10-$12 to get it back to them, so they could simply send the one I needed as a even exchange. Well, this was not the case as we had the most illogical conversation for 3-4 days and this ridiculous transaction ended up with me getting a $10 credit on this order, so I could turn around and use it to order the one I need. So, I would have to spend another $50+ to get the mount I need, while I have one I cant use. I even went to vendor site and emailed them, b but was instructed to follow up thru amazon since that is where the order was placed. On this vendor site, the ask to not leave any negative comments and reach out to them directly to clear up complications-which I attempted to do. So, again I'm not sure who was play messaging tag with over this item to try and get a even exchange, however they had to lack any sort of common sense or ability to make a simple swap transaction take place. I'm still in the need for the correct mount if anyone with a logical brain is able to make this exchange happen. ... show more

It mounted up fine, had to drill new holes in trunk because mounting holes on rack don't match. That wasn't a problem. The real issue after riding and hitting a couple speed bumps is the trunk almost fell off. I pulled into my driveway and the front c shaped mounts were out and the rear mounts were the only thing holding it in. Thank goodness for that. The mounting rack is not good, just not tight enough. I don't trust it now. I am looking for another one from a well known brand. Another thing is the mounting rack puts' the trunk too close to your saddlebags, it was a tight fit opening the lids on my saddlebags. ... show more
