I've been a bit leery of sound bars in the past because they only seemed to be a small upgrade from the TV speakers in my opinion. I've much preferred 5.1 or 7.1 systems, but you don't always have the luxury of space for those. This is the first sound bar I've owned with a sub woofer and I have to say, it's pretty impressive. Setup: This was a total breeze. The subwoofer is wirelessly connected, so it just needed its own power. I used the HDMI ARC for the sound bar connection so it was just a matter of plugging the included HDMI cable into the TV and sound bar and connecting the power cord. My TV is on a wall mount so I mounted the soundbar a few inches below it as per the recommendation. One small thing that turned out to be a real delight feature for me was that the included template had holes pre-punched for the mounting screws so I just had to measure, level it, and hang it, then mark the holes. It was one of the easiest wall mounting jobs I've ever done. Once connected, my TV (also a TCL) immediately recognized the sound bar and did some sort of setup that flashed very quickly on the screen. Then it played a little sample movie which was pretty cool. One note - I'm not sure if I missed a prompt or this is usual, but my TV didn't automatically switch its audio output to the sound bar, but that was a super simple change and, in a way, I'm kind of glad I got one last chance to hear the dull sound of the TV speakers because once I activated this bad boy it really pumped out the sound. I was very surprised at how well it sounded given its small stature, but I think the sub woofer makes all the difference. I have a 65" TV so the sound bar does look a bit small, and I'm used to seeing much larger sound bars, but any concerns around "size matters" go away immediately when you hear this thing. Sound was crisp, and the Dolby and DTS audio was superb. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I can appreciate loud booms and clear sound, and that's exactly what this delivers. There's also Bluetooth connectivity, but I didn't set that up since it's going to be a dedicated sound system for the TV. It's cool to know that I could use that if I ever wanted to. I liked how there were so many options to configure with the remote and the sound bar provided visual and audio prompts to inform me of each selection, so it was a breeze to get it set up just right for my taste. Oh, and I could detect no lag whatsoever with the wireless connection to the sub woofer, which was great because I'm extremely sensitive to out-of-phase sound with Bluetooth audio or some poorly encoded streams. One the negative side, the power cord is a bit on the short side, and I had to hang it diagonally to reach my power strip, which isn't the end of the world, but could limit some options or require an extension cord. And as I said earlier it's a bit small compared to larger TVs so it looks kind of dinky, but it sounds better than far larger sound bars I've heard before. Overall, I'd highly recommend this sound bar. It's loaded with features, sounds great, and was really easy to set up. And at this price point, I feel you get incredible value for your dollar.

Very pleased with our sound bar and subwoofer. It was veery easy to set up. At first we were concerned because it didn't seem to recognize our remote and we specifically bought this sound bar because it was a TCL which was also the brand of our television. After calling the help line, it turned out that we had centered the sound bar with the tv and it was not picking up the remote. After moving the sound bar to the side, everything worked fine. The sound is so clear that we no longer have to turn the volume way up to hear clearly. Even when the actors are talking in quiet tones, we are able to hear them. We couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

This soundbar and sub are a great buy. I really like how low-profile it is. It has many great features such as the 3D surround sound. You can adjust for the type of sound you need for sports or movies. You can fine tune and make adjustments on the voice audio vs base vs treble. Integrates with my TV so that the TV remote controls the volume. Definitely worth considering for a medium sized room over other brands that might break the bank. The seller was extremely responsive. After placing the order, I received a notification within the hour that the item shipped. Received within 48hrs.

I was quite upset to find out that USB playback on this soundbar cannot be controlled from a desktop via USB connection, even though it appears that way from the quick setup pamphlet. I contacted support -- it only works for playing from a flash drive. In addition, the controls are a bit odd, I'm not sure how to switch back to main volume after setting the subwoofer/bass volume. I wish there was a separate set of buttons to set subwoofer volume quickly, like a different soundbar I have. I have had some difficulty in certain circumstances connecting my device through bluetooth, it appears the soundbar just turns itself off in certain circumstances. The device also gets pretty loud relatively easy. I can't complain too much, It sounds pretty good. I don't personally care too much about the sound features it offers like virtual surround sound currently, but those can be cool for some people I think. Mounting on the wall was super easy, it comes with a convenitent piece of paper to help measure where to drill. The device was relatively plug & play, and no special setup or cell phone spyware required. When I emailed support about the USB issue they responded very quickly, so it's good to see that from an import product.

This sound bar and subwoofer is the best bang for your buck. I have purchased several different, more expensive brands and this one by far is the most impressive. Sound quality is great, set up is easy. High recommend.

For such a small setup it really puts out the sound. This replaced a Bose Solo 2 system and it's night and day difference.

Paired with a TCL television and the instillation was seamless. Great quality sound and you cannot beat the price point. I am a senior on a fixed income and you cannot beat the sound quality.
