The 4K resolution is incredibly sharp, and it handles HDR content beautifully. Blacks are deep, and there's minimal light bleed, so it performs well even in dim lighting. Google TV Experience: I’ve used other smart TVs, but the Google TV integration on this TCL is top-notch. The interface is easy to navigate, and it has all the streaming apps I could want pre-installed. I recently purchased the TCL 65" Class QLED 4K Smart NXT Frame TV, and it’s an exceptional choice for the price range. The picture quality is impressive, with vibrant colors, sharp contrast details, and excellent brightness. Watching sports, movies or shows on this TV feels like a real true-to-life experience, thanks to the rich QLED technology. And when we don't want to watch any of that stuff, it has fantastic art gallery images and collection of artworks already installed which adds a really nice touch. Even comes with a light wooden bezel option that's pretty easy to add to the existing bezel. It also runs on Google TV, which is incredibly smooth and intuitive. It offers seamless access to streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube, making it a breeze to find and enjoy content. The voice control feature adds even more convenience to navigation. Cheaper yet equal and better in some cases than a Samsung frame

I wanted a frame TV and I didn't want to pay Samsung prices. TCL. I didn't have any trouble mounting this TV. I saw some people that did. I'm not sure what would have been the problem. I consider that to be user error. If you have any kind of mechanical sense in your body, you will be fine. Very cut and dry. However, if you don't want to mount it, good luck finding those legs that are pictured on the product page. It does not come with them. And I couldn't find them anywhere to the point where I don't even know if they exist in real life. TCL page doesn't have anything but a rolling easel stand and I can't imagine those are flying off the shelf. So how about it? TCL.. Tell us where to get the normal legs for when you want to just set it on top of an entertainment center. Moving on, this is my second product with Google TV in it. I bought a projector last summer that had it and didn't even know this one had it but was happily surprised. It makes things easier for connection to all your other devices. Setup is a breeze for anybody with a Google account as well. It's got a nice refresh rate. If you game it sits nice and flush on the wall and comes with an extra frame color. Which almost perfectly matches the paint I've chosen in my home. Bonus! It's a little tricky messing with trying to get hdmis into the inputs once it's mounted and I'm still trying to figure out the the best approach to this. When it's that close to the wall is to be expected. So do that before you hang it the final time. I even hung an extra one for future use so I won't have to go through it again. As for the gallery feature on the TV... I actually quite love it I actually quite like it. There's quite a bit of stuff on there. I couldn't find my favorites but maybe there will be some add-ons hopefully. And if you're not happy with what's on there, you can generate your own AI images. There's not a whole lot of options with the AI, but there's enough to give you something to play with. Lots of settings for it too. And you can even choose to play attached music for each piece. Kind of neat to have it on for ambience When you're not using the TV for other things. I usually stick with Samsung And did look at their frame TVs first. But when I saw that I could get one for cheaper. I thought I'd try it. And to compare Google TV to Samsung's interface I would say Google TV is loaded. And as it's newer it will probably continue to get better. I will have no problem buying products from Google or TCL in the future. ... show more

Horrible
Bought this tv April 2026, it was great at first. Street about 3 months it started glitching in apps, now it loses wifi connection every week we have to unplug and plug back in. The wifi not working constantly is really annoying. If I could return i would at this point. Worst tv I've bought in years! I have never had issues until this tv ... show more

TCL Nextframe TV Review (8/10)
I purchased two TCL Nextframe TVs alongside the Hisense Canvas TV because I couldn’t decide which one I’d prefer. After testing, here’s my honest take on the TCL Nextframe: Pros: 1. Design & Appearance: • The TV has a sleek, frame-like design, perfect for wall mounting. It’s not meant for a stand, which is clearly stated in the product description, so don’t expect one to be included. • The bezel/frame looks nice, although it feels slightly cheap in quality. 2. Picture Quality: • Decent but requires fine-tuning in the settings for optimal viewing. It’s not mind-blowing, but for a frame TV “dupe,” it’s passable. 3. Internet Connectivity: • Works well, although one of my units occasionally loses Wi-Fi (likely my issue). A Wi-Fi extender could help. 4. Photo Display: • Pre-installed photos look great, though the ability to add more options or widgets would be nice. Cons: 1. Installation Challenges: • Wall-mounting is non-negotiable for this product, and it’s tricky unless your home is prepped with recessed outlets and cable management. Otherwise, you’ll need to install a recessed outlet and cable slot. • The included plug design prevents the TV from sitting flush against the wall. I had to buy a replacement plug on Amazon—TCL should address this. 2. Audio Quality: • The speakers are subpar, even with a soundbar. There seems to be a design flaw with both the internal speakers and audio output. 3. User Interface: • The Google-based interface is cluttered and less intuitive than TCL’s Roku platform. It takes some getting used to, and app/widget options are limited. 4. Screen Issues: • The biggest disappointment was removing the plastic screen protector after installation. On both TVs, this left tiny scratches and a foggy, milky residue. • While I could buff some of it out with a microfiber cloth, it was a frustrating process, and a few spots remain. Overall Impression: While the TCL Nextframe looks stylish once installed, the flaws—particularly the screen scratches, audio quality, and installation challenges—keep it from being outstanding. Personally, I found the Hisense Canvas TV to be a better option. If you’re considering this TV, I recommend checking it out in-store first to see if it meets your expectations. I give it an 8/10 for aesthetics and functionality but with notable room for improvement. ... show more

Bad ART TV but good television

Please read because it's important!!!! This TV is exceptionally well at handling colors, brightness and clarity. It comes with multiple settings, which allow you to adjust the TV to your viewing pleasure and it is phenomenal and it for sure does not feel like a TCL TV. Now when it comes to the art aspect, you have to keep in mind that it's a Google TV and the screensaver default is Google TVs ambient display and not the art display. This TV needs a complete software update to improve the following: - Screensaver should automatically be the exhibition app (TCL's art mode) - The exhibition app needs its own brightness setting like other apps do because this TV comes with an ambient sensor and adjust the brightness based on the room. - because it is a Google TV if you have a Google doorbell, you get the notification of the doorbell on your TV while it's in "art mode" and it completely takes the art mode off and leaves it at the selection screen of the exhibition app and not the art mode. - if it's night time and the lights are off and the room is dark, the TV should also automatically turn art turn off when it's in art mode. - the exhibition app uses the same brightness setting (even if you have the automatic ambient sensor on to adjust the brightness based on the room brightness itself) it uses the brightness that the Google TV home screen uses. So if you intend to lower your brightness to match to the art in your room while the TVs are art mode. Once you get out of art mode it's super low and you will have to constantly keep going back and forth with adjustment of the TV brightness. As much as I want to give this TV three stars, I can't do that, especially knowing and understanding that this TV is a cheaper art TV compared to Samsung's version but at the end of the day it is a art TV and it needs these features to feel and operate like you have art in your space. Not bad at all
So, don’t get me wrong, this tv is nice for what it is! It shows pictures AMAZINGLY! It also shows decent when it comes to movies. Cartoons looked great on it! Sound was great! Connection to the app was easy. I ended up sending it back simply because we watch a lot of movies and it was just too dim. I bought an LG G5 OLED and an LG C5 OLED! Let’s just say night and day difference. But if you are looking for that art look and don’t watch many movies then go for it! It’s definitely not a bad TV ... show more
