These bowls look nice and the sizes are perfect. The lids are not air tight, so I would not store anything in these bowls. The bowl itself is plastic but seems like a durable plastic.

The bowls are nice, deep bowls. Perfect for mixing things with a hand mixer. However, they are not great storage bowls. The lids do not secure to the bowl at all. There is a lip to keep the lid from sliding side to side, but the lid is not seal. It just sits on top.

These are so versatile, nice to look at and create such a nice display. I really like these. I think if you review their own marketing materials and images, they really nail it. Spot on, and it's hard to add much to it. I love especially the image of the variety of foods with the lids out as displays and accoutrements to the items. Perfect. This is excellent, giving you three sizes for various needs, salads, snacks, varying number of attendees, etc... Being bamboo, this will show some wear in time, so expect a bit of weathering. Take care of them, and you will extend their attractive lifespan. However, they are not going to be impervious as plastic or metal, obviously. At the same time, they have character, je ne sais quoi! I really like them a lot. They are of excellent quality, and I hope to have much wonderful use in coming years. ... show more
