I had low expectations for this TV, for $269 for an 55” smart TV, and to be honest, I was prepared to return it if the picture quality was bad. But I was surprised at how great the picture quality and sound are! I wanted it for an outdoor showing of the Eras Tour for a large group of friends and had planned to show it on a projector and screen but it was too bright when we did a dry run the week before the event, so I purchased this on Amazon in a bit of a panic, with a hefty dose of skepticism. It was easy to connect it to external speakers for our outdoor performance. I had the option to enable it with my current Fire TV settings, so when it arrived, set-up was so easy, it was essentially plug and play. All my apps were loaded and ready to use. I’ll be keeping this TV, it’s great!

I just got this TCL 65-Inch Smart TV for my husband, and let me tell you – it’s a hit with the whole family! The picture quality is incredible with Dolby Vision HDR, and the sound is super immersive thanks to Dolby Atmos. My husband loves watching sports on it, and the kids are obsessed with playing games – the 4K resolution makes everything look so crisp. Plus, the Alexa integration makes it easy to control, and I love that it’s Apple Airplay compatible! It was super easy to set up, and now we can stream all our favorite shows. Totally worth it for the whole family!

Overall, a good TV. Pros: Decent picture, you can connect your Bluetooth headphones to it which is huge for me, lots of apps available, the price was right. Cons: It doesn't get very loud, so you might want some speakers too. My major gripe is that if you pause the show or hang out in the menu the sleep timer shuts the TV off after about 5 minutes and there's no way to change that setting. I'm sick of getting up to feed the cats and coming back to my TV being off.

I am not sure where to start. I seen the thousands of reviews. I thought it’s a decent price for at $300 to arrive in a few days with an easy Amazon sign in set up. I liked the idea of using Amazon Alexa to assist with the tv. The biggest issue was my remote did not work. The app remote with my iphone also did not work. Not sure if there was a Bluetooth issue but I could not access any functions for the TV because it did not get past the set up stage without the remote working. The TV did cut on. It just did not get past the pair the remote setting. Which was worse. I would have preferred an obviously broken tv because I spent hours trying to resolve the problem. I contacted Amazon. I went through the step by step process to reset tv, remote. Change batteries brought new batteries. I was then referred to TCL. I repeated process. I did not work. They offered to send me a new remote. Without the Bluetooth remote I guess the tv is just a paperweight? I was then told to just return the tv through Amazon. I then returned the tv and bought a tried and true Roku tv the same day at Best Buy. So it is nearly 30 DAYS later on July 31 when they said my refund will be issued. They updated the refund today for 8/2. It has been a very frustrating experience. I’m happy for everyone that received a good tv with a functioning remote. I would warn anyone that has never used TCL the deal was not worth the trouble at all. Also still have not been refunded.

Arrived before expected packaged well. No damage. Was hard to find the holes for wall mount...finally saw them amost on the bottom. So beware. Got it wall mounted and the mount shows on the bottom as the holes are so close to the bottom on the rear. Usually the wall mount holes are in the middle. So if you're going to mount on an existing one, beware. The set up was very easy. Turned on and it was already set up for our Amazon account. That was nice. Download and installation of apps was easy. Within an hour all was complete and was operating just like our old one. The picture quality is good....but we're not fussy. Some would say it could be better but at this price point I can say it was as good a picture as the one we replaced that was much pricier and died after only 4 years. The sound is better than our old one as well. I like that the remote is the same as the one we had for our fire stick, which we no longer need. Overall, I've very happy with this TV and the entire transaction.
