I made espresso with this 3 times on different grind settings without much success. Unable to get a good crema and the taste wasn't great. I figured maybe try normal coffee with it. It's great cold brew and french press, but my goal was a lighter roast espresso. For standard purposes you will enjoy this bean.

This coffee from the German store Tchibo is the best for a nice relaxing breakfast and the weekend. While I prefer something stronger during the week, for the weekend this coffee has a nice mild taste and gives a moderate caffeine kick and it goes well with a relaxing weekend breakfast. You can get it as a ground version in a double pack (to keep half of it fresh longer), but I prefer the whole bean version, which I grind fresh and brew individual or as a carafe. The remaining whole beans keep well in the freezer for several month. This is now my preferred weekend and afternoon relaxing coffee.
