Just got it today, ran out of coffee a few days ago(!), so was itching for some coffee that doesn't come in granule form. :P Ground up some, Mr Coffeed it, and it was quite good. Not pinchy like Starbucky-type coffee, and better than supermarket fare. Compared to stuff like Maxwell House (which I'm convinced they cut 50/50 with sawdust, it's so bland and flavorless), this was much better. My only concern is that I could faintly smell coffee from the as-yet-unopened bag, so I'm not sure it was airtight. I could probably stuff some into an empty 2lb can I have left over, but dunno about the rest. Still, considering my first sampling, it was quite good, so I don't think much flavor/smell leaked out. :D

This is what I'll describe as a very robust flavor. I go a bit lighter on the amount I grind per cup. With a less amount, I feel I get the more, what I'll comment as fruitier essence in that flavor. I only fresh gear grind prior to brewing in a Stainless Steel French Press with moderately hot water, steeped for approximately 90 secs. The worse that can happen is (too hot, too long a steep) is it's simply a strong flavor, imo. I took to blending it, even, with other I had around, and that worked out well as 50/50 in the grind. Taste, like music, if very subjective. If you are a careful brewer or like a stronger flavor but not burnt, you may enjoy this. I hope that helps. Again, if nothing else, -- not a bad try if then blend it until finished.
