It burns! This stuff is potent. I relax every 4 to 5 weeks because I have a pixie cut with 4C roots. This stuff burns. To help I use a product called ph plex steps 1 and 2. Step one saved my hair with this relaxer. Also hase your edges and ears with Vaseline. I leave this on for 10 or 11 minutes and my hair is bone straight which is needful for a pixie cut.
