I am reviewing the Pink Picasso Kids! Paint by Numbers Kits for Kids (Rainbow). This kit includes the canvas, a reference picture, four brushes of various sizes, and ten paint colors (with two pots of the background color). There's also a page of printed instructions with a QR code for more tips. The tube says you can use the lid as a water cup. I tried and it leaked in less than a minute. I used my regular paint cup plus a paper towel for cleaning the brushes. I was impressed with the quality of this kit. The paints have great color payoff. The orange was a little transparent, and a few needed two coats to cover the numbers, but most only needed one coat. There was more than enough of each color. This is a pretty quick project. I think older kids can complete it within an hour. Little kids might need a few hour-long sessions. I like that the colors can be followed exactly to get a cute picture, or things can be switched up. Colors can be mixed, used in different places, or things can be drawn in the background, and such. There's plenty of paint to do anything, including another painting or two afterward. About the only disappointment is the brushes. They aren't great quality and started losing hairs immediately. If you plan to do these kits regularly, I would invest in a set of brushes. At $28, this isn't cheap, but there is a 25% off coupon right now, so I would stock up during a sale. These make a great craft for rainy nights or when a babysitter is watching the kids. They're also fun for an adult to relax with a quick project.

So I'm not certain the value is really $28. That said really it's such a cute kit. Our 3 year old can do it with some close supervision and a small amount of assistance. So much fun. It's not actually really painted on the canvas side. There's like more of a vinyl side. But much simpler than others so a win for a preschooler and mom to have time together. This is our second one. Will probably buy another.

Wow, wow, wow! This is a beautiful , and I really mean beautiful, Paint By Numbers set. I could kick myself for not getting more of these when I had the chance, but I just wasnt sure of the quality. Well, rest assured, you will not be disappointed in this Later Gator kit! This set is part of the Kids Collection, but an adult could also do it of course. ( There are also kits for adults). Everything you need comes in this kit: nice quality real canvas printed with picture and numbers, paint pots, 4 brushes, a colored sticker like picture for reference, directions with the picture again on the back with the numbers for reference. They have thought of everything including using the short end of the container to hold your brushes while you work. You only need a cup of water for cleaning your brushes between colors and a few paper towels. The whole kit comes in a tube and the canvas unrolls to be mostly flat. The right and left edges rolled up just the tiniest bit. The direction page has a QR code to scan to take you to their site which has lots of additional info which I found really interesting. Presentation is very important to me and this was packaged very well in a cute and appealing way. Enough so that I will be keeping the tube packaging and repurposing it for some other kid type thing. I did not have the opportunity to do things like this as a kid, but if I had this would most likely have been one of my most favorite things ever. As an adult or a child, you should check this out and undoubtedly I would purchase this again and most likely will do that as a gift for someone else.

I haven't done a paint by number in many, many years, but I thought this looked fun for a rainy day activity. The product packaging is giftable - it comes in a tube with all supplies you need. You get the canvas, paintbrushes, color guide, and paint. The canvas is curled up some, but you can sit the paint on top to hold it down. Once you start painting it, the weight of the paint flattens it. The numbers are clearly printed, the paint is great quality and glides on smooth. The one brush has a few fly away strands that I had to clip off. I had to do 2 coats of paint on some of the lighter colors to hide the numbers. The paint dried pretty quickly so I was able to complete this within a few hours. I love the owl and am thinking of getting a different style for my daughter to paint. I would say this is best for ages 10 and up. Once you're done painting the canvas, you take scissors and trim it to size.

You cannot go wrong with a Pink Picasso paint by number kit! This is a smaller kit designed for kids to enjoy and finish, and it's just as great quality as any other PP kit I've ever received. The canvas is solid, and comes rolled carefully into a strong tube, where it cannot be damaged. Rolled with the canvas is a clearly printed instructional sheet with details as to which color is to be used where, and tips and hints for completing the project. There are three solid-feeling brushes of varying brush sizes, and the paint is vacuum-sealed to maximize freshness. The image itself is cute and well colored and has a nice lack of too-small-to-paint spots, making for less frustration and more enjoyment as the project is worked on. I've been unfailingly impressed by PP kits, and this one is no different. A great gift for any kid who likes paint by number kits, and also a fun, short project for an adult!
