These have been an awesome and fun activity for kids! We use them on so many things: paper, cardboard, pumpkins, etc.! Another awesome part is that they are mess free! One of my all time favorite art materials, especially to use with young students and my special needs students. These are so easy to use, don't make a mess, dry in minutes, and produce a nice vibrant color!! Every teacher that sees these in my room wants to get some. No odor, nice size for little hands to easily grip. They do not leak or spill, they are like a solid glue stick but in tempera paint form. Nice thick color for good coverage. My friend had these paint sticks when we visited, and after seeing how much my kids enjoyed using them, I had to buy a set for our house. They have been a huge hit. There are tons of color options, and my kids constantly seek them out when they want to do a craft. The biggest advantage is that they work like paint but are much less messy than traditional paints. The paint goes on smoothly and does not smudge or smear once applied, which makes them a great option for kids who want to paint without dealing with cups of liquid paint and brushes. We’ve also found these to be an excellent craft for traveling. They’re compact, easy to pack, and don’t require water, paintbrushes, or much cleanup. The paint sticks are essentially like extra-large paint crayons, so keep in mind that they are fairly wide and aren’t ideal for fine details or very small drawings. For larger artwork and coloring, though, they work beautifully. We’ve had our set for several months now, and the sticks are still in great shape despite frequent use.. There are plenty of colors to choose from, and I think the price is very reasonable for the amount of use we’ve gotten out of them.
