I use this nylon cord to make beaded keychains. This cord is really strong and works well as a keychain. It has no stretch and doesn't fold well. It's also hard to tie off and knot but it's possible if you use enough pressure. I also glue off the ends so that there's no way for the ends to untie themselves with pressure and the beads don't fall off. ... show more

The string is nearly invisible which makes it tricky to tie (put a peice of tape on the end to make it easier). But once you get it tied, it works great. We hung a 5lb weight with it as a test and it held. We only held it for a few minutes so do your own test if needed.
