I use this at home with my children and at school with my students and it is very durable with just the right thickness for using pony beads and beads with slightly bigger holes. Super cute, my daughter loves that it is colorful! The material seems pretty sturdy. She made her grampy a bracelet and he is a large man! So I would say it stretches great and will last. Because she made herself her brother, and her daddy one as well and they have all lasted for a few months now! Not irritating either, unless you make it with no wiggle room for the bracelet to slightly twist. It does fray some where the cut is made, but honestly..
