This kit was almost perfect! Had fun making bracelets with them and was able to get about 10. The only reason why I took off a star is because the clear elastic was like rubber, and wouldn't stretch at all, however there is enough black string for all the bracelets. My daughter LOVES jewelry. More recently, she has been desiring to make her own. I searched high and low to find someone to facilitate a workshop for my daughter's surprised18th birthday party jewelry workshop. Everyone kept inserting their own vision for the workshop; they weren't listening to what I was requesting. Then it hit me, I wasn't listening to my daughter. She repeatedly shared her desire to make her OWN jewelry. I scoured the internet/Amazon and happened upon this kit. I read all the reviews and decided to take a chance. So glad I did, the kit is absolutely PERFECT! I purchased one for each of the guests. (Nine). There was a "scheduled" time for jewelry making, but the young Queens dabbled intermittingly. I heard several say "I love this, I'm ordering when I get home...and I love jewelry, it's so much better when you can customize it." They traded beads, figured out little tricks to make it easier, and had so much fun throughout the evening. I didn't hear too much complaining (maybe that it was hard to keep the beads on if you didn't know how to manipulate prior to securing, but after they found their way, it was off to the races in style.
